SECRETS PLAGUE THE MERCERS IN AN ALL NEW EPISODE OF "THE LYING GAME," MONDAY, OCTOBER 10th AT 8:00 PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (September 20, 2011) – Emma searches to finally get some answers, while Sutton tries to pull off her best Emma imitation, in "Sex, Lies and Hard Knock High," an all new episode of ABC Family’s original series, "The Lying Game," premiering Monday, October 10th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

Secrets abound in the Mercer household and Emma has had about enough of it. When she overhears an argument between Ted and Kristen, Emma thinks she finally can put a stop to all of the lies and get some real answers out of Sutton’s mom. But does Emma really think that she could pry the truth out of a secret that has been hidden for almost seventeen years? Or will the secret Kristen has been hiding turn out to be not the biggest secret lurking around the Mercer house?

Meanwhile, Sutton gets a glimpse into what Emma’s life has been like when she is forced to pretend to be her sister while in Las Vegas.

"The Lying Game" is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by Charles Pratt, Jr., Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. The series stars Alexandra Chando, Andy Buckley, Blair Redford, Sharon Pierre-Louis, Kirsten Prout, Alice Greczyn, Allie Gonino and Helen Slater.

  1. I'm going to guess that Sutton won't be as good at pretending to be Emma as Emma is at pretending to be Sutton.

  2. Another really good episode.  Sutton seems to be really getting deeper and deeper into Emma's complex life, and it just feels like the bubble is about to burst at any moment - I love the sense of underlying tension that the show is able to maintain.

Also, what great music during the casino scenes! I absolutely love TV/TV's "Turn Me On" which played right when they got there (http://vimeo.com/30395847 ) and am totally nuts about Demi Lovato and Dev's song "Who's That Boy" which played when Sutton starts winning after getting the cute new dealer (http://vimeo.com/30396086 )
