Lost Girl episode 2.05 will air on Sunday October 2nd the next week Showcase will air repeats of the first three episodes of season 2, there will be no new episode

    i dunno i Showcase only releases their schedule two weeks ahead i'd assume its just a 1 week off but i dont know for sure

    I would understand this if it was later in the season but they have a lot more episodes to show this year than last. Did they do this on the last year?

    More episodes th show also means that they have more episodes to shoot. Shooting 22 episodes takes a lot more time than shotting 13 episoeds. There has to be a hiatus sooner or later. Glee is only 3 episodes in this season and already has one month hiatus.

    last year only had one week off for canadian thanksgiving i remember
    but last year it started one week later and has only 13 eps and ended in december i guess this year maybe they want to drag it out till may or something with 22 episodes
    i "think" they are filming episode 14 now

    Showcase is really persistent about giving this show a hiatus.  As long as it doesn't last forever, I guess I'm okay with it.  I'm up to my ears in fall TV right now anyway.

    Yea I sorta figured it was a production thing and they were stretching the season out like an american show schedule. Oh well at least there are lots of episodes to look forward to. Thanks for the replies..

    i think next week is canadian thanksgiving and they took that off next year schedule seems to indicate that it will be a repeat on the 16th too tho
