"It's just a bunch of guidos getting hopped up on energy drinks and giving each other diseases..."
Here's your advance review of tonight's episode! Tonight we get the classic formula of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with plenty of noxious humor and drama that makes for a fun, if disconcerting experience!
It never ceases to amaze me how this show can be exceptionally disgusting, crass, hysterical and momentarily (if sparingly) heartfelt! Yes, I said heartfelt! (But mostly just heinously disgusting!) In a fleeting moment, the gang decides to elope to the Jersey Shore in an attempt to relive the glory days of their youth. What follows is probably the most intense 20 minutes of television I've seen since...well last season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia! Somehow within the course of 2o minutes, the gang goes through 3 different storylines of prospective love (Is it? It IS! The Waitress!), bowel-shaking displays of affection (BEWARE THE BOARDWALK!!!), lost rum ham, painful ramifications of bad hair-styling, the endearing side of the guidos, a beach crawling with adorable feral hounds (oh they're so cute AND dangerous!) a fight for survival, oh and someone gets shot!

"I think these dogs play by their own rules!"
There's plenty packed in this half hour that will amuse you as well as utterly repulse you. But you know you won't be able to look away.
I give this episode FIVE OUT OF FIVE HUNGRY FERAL DOGS.
It was really good tonight guys! We got plenty of Dennis & Dee having the worst day of their lives, while Charlie has a unique experience while visiting the ocean for the first time of his life!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm properly amped up for tonight's episode now. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was great! Dennis throwing up on the ride while Dee's hair was stuck was priceless.
