Yesterday was the 45th anniversary of Star Trek, as creator Gene Roddenberry launched the original television show on September 8, 1966.
TV Producer Gene Roddenberry’s optimistic vision of the future has captivated fans for nearly a half Century. Six television series and 11 films depict humanity hundred of years in the future, exploring the stars and battling the alien enemies that include the Klingons, Romulans and Borg.
