I really liked it to. The hour flew by and I was shocked when it was over!
I think it will concentrate more on Brody, what he went through while in captivity and what he's going through re-acclimating to being home..... and Anderson's personal issues that may or may not be affecting her judgement as she tries to build a case that may or may not be there.
Both of the leads are interesting enough and have enough going on that if they take the time to let us know them, they can just touch on the "is he or isn't he" plot each week and slowly build the case over most of the season. Then once we know why they are who they are now, all the pieces fall into place and every piece of evidence will mean so much more or so much less..
I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out over the season!
As they only have to make about 12 episodes per season, I think they can make it work. But this would never work if it was on a network and they had to make 22-24 episodes.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I've heard good things about this- nice to see Damien Lewis in something again too :)
ReplyDeleteI watched the pilot last week, I really enjoyed it. Not sure how they can make it last a season but it was good
ReplyDeleteI like this promo .. makes me think what she believes is true
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.. I think I saw this promo a few weeks ago or more. I thought here, but maybe on Showtime or something.
ReplyDeleteThis promo does make it seem like he's guilty...... more than others.
Yeah this ad feels incriminating.. I agree.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if he's lying about what he went through or actually playing the double agent from what I've seen. I like not knowing honestly!
