From what I have read from Alex O'Loughlin Rocks I agree 100%
The apparent sidelining of Kono has some fans quite concerned and the recently released promotional stills of her interrogation in the Five-0 rendition room — by none other than her former boss — have fueled the disquiet.
Rest assured, she’s not going anywhere, folks! Nor is anyone replacing her.
Yes, the team dynamic is definitely changing with new faces coming on board. With them, they bring fresh energy and pave the way to creative story arcs that will keep this show from becoming stale. It’s a smart move to do this sooner rather than later and it will help Hawaii Five-0 stand out even more and encourage its longevity.
It also keeps the cast energized.
So if you’re worried about Kono, don’t be.
Steve McGarrett himself gave us a hint when he mentioned in episode 2.01 that she shouldn’t get too used to all that free time… because he may be needing her to do some undercover work.

Thanks for this! I just hope that it plays out great and doesn't get a little tiring
ReplyDeleteI hope it plays out fun, the predictability of the set up was a little disappointing for me mostly because I tend to expect more from this show, but if it's a good ride I"ll go along.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how this plays out!
ReplyDeleteI hope she does go und ercover.I don't think Kono adds that much to the show(except the obvious),Yes, shes a good cop, she surfs,um,umm, umm.Lets get to know more about her, give her something more than whats been shown.
ReplyDeleteWhewwwwwww so glad to read this about Kono. New characters are great but don't leave the ones we love behind. Good to know they feel the same way.
ReplyDeletei think she'll be great going undercover as dirty!
