What do you think of this one? Personally I think it's awful.

I actually kind of love it, though I hate how Olivia is standing there like a statue ready to shatter. The discombobulated background is interesting.
ReplyDeleteYep, it is awful. Looks awkward adn very very false. they could ahve at least gone with a better picture.
ReplyDeleteEvery time they release a new poster it is like they use the photos from the exact same shoot but just photoshop it to death.
ReplyDeleteOuch. Terrible
ReplyDeleteI reminds me of what I'd see at a wax museum...
ReplyDeleteactually I don't like it so much :/
ReplyDeleteThis look terrible. Must be one of the worst poster I seen yet! Peter, Walter, and Olivia all look strange, and what with the background?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fringey room of the animus. XD Yes, i just made an Assassin's Creed reference. lol
ReplyDeletei think the best promo poster is still the one from S2.. and geez, those from Season 1 are awesome.
At least in this one they didn't overphotoshop'ed Anna.
i honestly didn't think that was Peter.
ReplyDeletewhatever happened to the people that were in charge of the promotional posters and pictures in season 1?????
ReplyDeleteThe background intrigues me... like something from Picasso's cubist period, but not enough for me to like this poster.
ReplyDeletethese are very interesting
ReplyDeleteI am hoping they will release a number of sets of promo photos like normal. The first set is usually a little bland like them in a warehouse or a room, but then as more posters come out they get better.
ReplyDeleteAt least I hope we get a clue filled poster with glyphs and FRINGE-isms hidden throughout it like we got the last 2 years!
maybe that's the point, Olivia is currently the only thing with a symbiotic relationship to the machine and thus the only one holding the Universes together.
ReplyDeletemaybe its about time to hire a new photoshop poster making guy
ReplyDeleteThey need to fire whoever's taken over the marketing for this season
ReplyDeleteOMG XDD such a great show with such awful posters... it's a shame! :(
ReplyDeleteIt's very...YELLOW, Hmmmnn....(makes you think, doesn't it?)
ReplyDeleteYeah it's pretty awful.
ReplyDeleteThis one is terrible. They are all way out of proportion. And why did they stretch Olivia's neck so much?
ReplyDeleteWhat is with the posters lately? They suck!
ReplyDeletegod these are bad!
ReplyDeleteCool! They are on "building Blocks" (a metaphor for cells or DNA which are defined as, 'the building blocks of life')
ReplyDeleteThe stairs is interesting too, because it suggests either a stairway to a higher purpose or plane (like a stairway to heaven might be the equavilant to having knowledge of the material universe), and/or a way to get back to something...another level.
This isn't really worthy of a tweet...
ReplyDeleteThat thing is just dreadful. On top of the awful background they all look so awkward...
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of this morning is it's a long way to the top if you want to Rock and Roll. lol
ReplyDeletetoo much photoshop! other than that I love them :D
ReplyDeleteIrony. The same photographer shot these photos as season 1. I really like them, it makes a change from all the dark backgrounds. These are brighter are more interesting imo.
ReplyDeleteThat`s not my taste!
ReplyDelete"symbiotic relationship to the machine"
ReplyDeleteHow? When did they say such assertion?
Awful isn't the word, dreadful
ReplyDeleteHonestly, this one isn't any worse than most of the promo shoots. I don't know why they feel the need to use so much photoshop on such lovely people.
ReplyDeleteI like it. I love the whole theme of the world breaking apart.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the bizarre background -- it fits the show -- but Peter's and Walter's legs look unnatural and Olivia, full face, looks kind of bland.
ReplyDeleteIt's ok, look kinda bland to me
ReplyDeleteI quite like it.
ReplyDeleteIt's like they're standing in the rubble of an MC Escher exhibit.
ReplyDeleteI like the 'idea' of this poster but the 'execution' has a lot to be desired. The guys look very 'harsh.' It doesn't even look like Peter.
ReplyDeleteso there is peter bishop...
