  2. Thats just retarded. How does this make any kind of sense?

  3. Probably they are standalone episodes or a sign that the shows are already in trouble

  4. well I am thinking I shouldn't be committing to these then!

  5. I always wonder if this was a choice by the network heads or the showrunners....I usually feel that this isn't a good sign, but I guess we'll just wait and see.

  6. Uff, that doesn't bodes well, but it might be soon to make assumptions. Networks do this to put the allegedly more interesting and cool episodes first to hook people in. They could just have considered the 2 episode of each series slow.

But that does not do any good for the creative team of the shows and the show themselves story wise. And if the networks are considering episodes to slow and not flashy enough, it speaks not so kindly of their own feelings and hopes for the shows :/

  7.  yeah considering ABC gave more than 2x the marketing budget of Charlie's Angels to Revenge and Pan Am got even less than Angels id say they dont expect much from Angels and Pan Am

  8. Then they are positively f*cked if people don't tune them in.

  9. Huh that's odd... the letters on the page say one thing, but my brain keeps reading it as "DOOMED! THE END IS NIGH!"....

  10. Agreed.
I think most of the time th network has the final say as to the episode air order... I think some of the big producers and showrunners may have more say than most though.

  11. Even if they are stand alone episodes, I think the network "logic" must be that they want to air the stronger episodes first to draw viewers in.

So I read it as ABC does not have faith people will watch episode 3 or beyond if they air the first two in order.....Ominous indeed.

  12. How does ABC expect these to be hits if they show them out of order?

  13. Wait.  Did I read that right?  Does that say ABC isn't airing episode 2 of Pan Am at all?

  14.  right now i only know the schedule for the next four  weeks and its pilot,3,4,5

  15. Oh, alright.  I suppose if they wait too long there would be no sense in airing it anyway so I shouldn't hold my breath.

  16. 3 shows I'm looking forward to on thursday are Big Bang, Prime Suspect, and Person of Interest, Charlies Angels Suck but I'll watch it for a a laugh........ it says a lot for a show to run episodes out of sequence I'll give it 8 maybe 9 eps

  17. People should remember that ABC's decision to air Happy Endings out of order is what saved it from cancellation.  These days it's better for all shows to put their best foot forward and gain as much early buzz as possible, even it it comes at the expense of continuity.

Also, ABC airs virtually all their shows (except DH and Lost) out of order.

  18. Could it be related to the content in Episode 2 of PanAm, since it won't be broadcast at all (if they chose to broadcast it out of sequence it might be because they felt it was weaker, but since they've filmed it and won't broadcast it at all, it may contain content the channel censors deemed inappropriate... it's happened before, right?)

  19. As to this being a bad omen: remember that some Glee episodes were broadcast out of order, too, during the first season part I. :)

  20. This makes no sense.
