    I wish there was a crime or book theme like the  previous 3 season's posters. It's a good pic, but I miss the story aspect compared to the previous seasons....

    CASTLE returns with new episodes on September 19th at 10PM on ABC (CTV in Canada) and stars Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Susan Sullivan, Molly C. Quinn, Jon Huertas, Tamala Jones, Seamus Dever and Penny Johnson.

    Beautiful picture indeed and I agree with DarqueMode: it is not nearly as photoshopped as 99,999% of the promo pictures of other shows.

    btw: is it just me or has Nathan gained weight? Nothing to see on this picture, but he is always wearing baggy jackets on the cast pictures and his face looks much fuller than on his Firefly years.

    i don't think we will have this aspect this season, the last season Castle says, he has no reason to stay here to write a book, if he is there it's to be with her. I this that will be the thread of the story this season: their realtionship. That's why we don't have this aspect in the promo poster this season

    He has gained weight I think. Not a lot, but it shows in his face quite a bit... Can see it in the two pics... 1 from Firefly and 1 from Castle last year.

    Yep. Clearly. Thanks for the pics.

    It shows not only on his face, he looks "broader" (no visible gut (yet) though, which is a bonus!).

    He should start shedding the pounds if Castle is supposed to get Beckett...after all, Dr. Motorcycle Boy was/is pretty lean :)

    BTW: if Stana had gained even 3 pounds everybody would be talking about it...

    Seriously? You're comparing a picture that is nearly 10 years old to another picture that isn't even a year old and saying he's put on the pounds? It's not that he's gained weight, he's merely bigger. He's the same size in that Castle photo as he is in the one I've attached from Dr. Horrible, and I don't see any undue body fat there.

    I'm not saying he hasn't aged well or is not still in fighting shape. Just saying you can tell in his face he has gained weight. It's in no way a jab saying he needs to lose. 

    I was just replying to a question asked, that both myself and my mom (that I recently got to watch Firefly) commented on this last season of Castle. In the last year or so his face looks heavier.

    BTW, I was just kidding abot the shedding the pounds thing before, hence the smiley face and Dr. Motorcycle Boy comparison (clarifying before anybody starts saying I am evil or sth), but I have to agree with DarqueMode.

    Just saw some season 1 photos and he was clearly leaner.

    And I don't understand your sentence "It's not that he's gained weight, he's merely bigger". How would he be bigger if not by gaining weight? It's not like he has grown :)

    Even if he were bigger just because of muscle mass (which doesn't seem to be the case) he would have had to gain weight.

    I believe he just gained some weight like normal people do when they are on their late 30s.The fact that Stana is soooo skinny doesn't help either (TV is cruel). It just seems to me that they have been trying to hide his weight gain with the camera angles and clothing: he is almost always wearing a jacket or blaser and not so often wearing just a shirt, like it was common in the previous seasons. His shirts are "baggier" too.

    And I agree with chestal, Stana could easily gain some pounds, she would look better IMO. I just watched the deleted scene in which Castle is checking her *ss out, and then I though: "There's not much to look at".

    I love it! I'm just soooo in love with it! In fact, I'm in love with all Castle promo pics this season. sooo much better than last season's.
    I like the tag. It has some kind of hidden meaning (I think, and still try to figure it out), and it shows the continuity of the show. remember what Castle wrote for Beckett in the advanced copy he gave her in season 1? '' I couldn't think of a better partner in crime''. to hell with discontinuity prob. your argument is invalid!
    also, look at the way Castle raising eyebrow and Beckett holding a finger to shush him. what kind of secrets are these two hiding?

    The poster captures the sense of fun Castle has.  In a world of massive crime show overload, it is that fun that gets me to tune in.  Glad they could show that.

    :D Hey there everyone! I'm new here. I usually don't watch cop shows cause I think there's way too much and it always the same thing and too serious...but my mom show me 2 episodes of Castle and I couldn't resist....I stay up 'til 2AM yesteday just to watch the first 3 episodse

    xD I L-O-V-E all the funny lines and the love/hate relationship between the characters. I'll never be able to catch up for the S4 premiere...but I think i'll catch up to you guys eventually :) It sure look like a one of a kind show :)
