Castle - Season 4 - Casting News - Dean Norris to Guest in Hostage Episode

One Breaking Bad guy will attempt to thwart a whole band of bad guys when Dean Norris guest stars on ABC’s Castle this season, TVLine has learned exclusively.

As I previously reported in my Inside Line column, one of Season 4′s fall episodes will find Castle (played by Nathan Fillion) and his mother, Martha (Susan Sullivan), trapped inside a bank during a heist pulled off by a group of colorfully named robbers.

Norris will play the hostage negotiator who tries to defuse the situation, and get everyone out alive — while Beckett (Stana Katic) stands close by, wishing there were more she could do to help.

    I'm so impatient to see Beckett's reaction when Rick is in danger. And I have to say, I wouldn't like to be one of the robbers (Castle AND Martha :O oh god ! Poor robbers :( lol )

    can't wait for these episode!

    I can easy imagine beckett be worry about Castle and loosing her control with the neggociator. I think he could be the kind of guy who wants succeed his mission: arrest the kidnapper and doesn't matter about the hostages... and why not Castle should be hurt during this....

    First i mistook him with Michael Chiklis... he looks like him i think.... But Dean Norris made some apperance in different tv shows: medium, criminal minds, lie to me or Lost

    Excellent! I can see this being a hilarious situation all around with their nicknames (love them! lol) and both Castle and Martha in the bank, though scary still depending on how crazy the Doctor Robbers are. They could really be in for it. If anything happens to Castle or Martha they will be anyway because Beckett will not be pleased and she'll step on toes to make sure they know it. Can't wait to see how she fares with not being able to do more to help, since it isn't her jurisdiction, but it is her "man" and his mama.

    I don't know who they had in mind for the big bad that is responsible for trying to take out Beckett but Dean Norris would have been great for that role.

    What a great storyline, Castle and Martha trapped in a bank during a robbery and Beckett outside in a support position, not leading the hostage rescue. That is a totally new approach to ending a case. It really sounds cool.

    You're right.  Maybe that's why this guy looks so familiar.  I looked him up on IMDb and found no reason for me to recognize him.  I guess I am confusing him with Chilkis.

    Sounds like a role reversal episode with Beckett on the outside this time.  Should be interesting to see how she reacts and of course any increase in Martha time is a win in my book.
