    The Josh guy is not a good actor. He lacks the depth that the scene requires. The line "She's dying" could have been played much much better, it did not give me any reaction at all. (My comment is regarding the actor, it is not a "shipper" thing against Dr. Morotcycle Boy - love that nickname).

    I loved the scene of Ryan and Esposito on the hall talking on their phones.

    Yep. Thank goodness that they used his character so little. If they paired Victor Webster (Josh) and Brandon Routh (Superman and Daniel Shaw on Chuck) they could have a hit show about robots with no feelings at all. That would be some perfect casting, hahaah.

    Sorry JW, I understand you are trying to be nice and polite (kudos to politeness), but the guy is an ACTOR, so he is supposed to ACT, which is not going very smoothly. If he were that bad in another profession he would probably be sued for malpractice. Acting is supposed to be his job.
    I wish him good things (I don't hate on anybody), but he should try practicing at home.

    maybe you should go watch his other works and you would realize he actually CAN act. Get over yourself, maybe you should try it??  I don't like josh for any reason except I want my becket/castle!  However, Victor Webster is a good actor.  Maybe he didn't do this scene as well as he should have, but I've seen him in a ton of stuff and he's always done a good job.  Why don't you wait til you watch the whole damn episode then judge?  No need to be rude.

    It wasn't that bad, did you not listen?  He was surprised.  He is a doctor though, he's supposed to stay calm.  If you've seen the other clips you know he does react later, after all he yells at Castle.  Do I like Josh? No.  Do I wanna see him yell at Castle? No.  But no need to overreact to the guys acting.  He does a fine job.

    I might have overreacted to the scene. And yes, he is a doctor and he's
    supposed to stay calm, but as every human being, seeing the person that
    supposedly is the closest person to him, dying, requires more emotional aspect over him
    As for Victor Webster - I like the guy, so don't think I'm saying that he can't act. There was just a bit more to be expected.

    I am not being rude. His work is for everyone to see and I have seen him before (Charmed for instance) and he sucked also. I am sorry if you think one cannot criticize much. Are you also so offended by the Golden Raspberries?

    I didn't call him names or anything. I criticized his craft. That's objective.

    I was a bit surprised too by Josh's lack of surprise/shock to see his girlfriend lying on an operating table dying. But maybe that's indeed due to his profession, for that he is trained to remain calm and stuff. Nevertheless, his reaction somehow doesn't feel right to me... Well, let's see what the whole episode brings.

    even in Mutan X serie, he was bad ... in those extract he is freacking cold... a little more feeling could be welcome even if he want hide them to care her. Just a little tears in his eyes and said something like "i'm ok we have to save her life! i don't want leave her" could be welcome... It's not too much but that show the character loves her. By watching this extract you asking yourself if the character have any feelings about her. But may be it's what the productors wanted ?

    My thought exactly! When I tried to dig more about the scene, it struck me that maybe that's the whole point - to see Josh not feeling the kind of love he is supposed to have. He sure loves her in a way, but there's no affection between them and clearly they don't feel the need for each other. Totally the opposite as it's between Castle and Beckett.
