  1. I saw this after watching Torchwood on Friday night. ...

I had very little interest in watching Boss honestly, but this trailer drew me in!
I like the subplots and I can really see Kelsey Grammer in the role now that I watched some footage!

  2. If Alderman Gibbons from The Chicago Code was a white guy and had his own show, this would be it.

  3. Hadn't thought of that and you're right basically!

Although the part of this trailer that drew me in was the impending medical condition and personal life. It just made Mayor Tom Kane interesting to me ... more than just a brutal politician.

We really didn't get to see too much of Gibbons personal life that I recall. Although I did not watch the latter half of the season honestly. I have it archived so I may some rainy day.

  4. Thank goodness for On Demand.  I will probably watch a few episodes just to see if I like it.  That is how I got hooked on Cinemax's new show Strike Back.  Now I am addicted to the darn show and it's only been three episodes.

  5. You should try to find the first season of Strike Back with Andrew Lincoln (from The Walking Dead) and Richard Armitage (from Robin Hood and Spooks)... it was very good too.

I actually liked it more story wise, but Season Two has a lot of fun humor and action in it to make up for its flaws.

  6. If you're on the fence about finishing the series, you should know that it wraps up a lot better than most one season wonders.  It's almost like Shawn Ryan didn't expect the show to last and made it into a 13 episode series instead of a "first season."

  7. Thanks.
That was the reason I quit watching when I heard it was cancelled halfway through the season, but I heard from a friend it finished OK. Your comment makes me feel even better about finishing the series.
