Hey Guys,
It's been a while since the last TV teasers, but I'm hoping to make this a weekly feature once again from this week onwards as the shows continue filming.
We have some great stuff this week, I hope you enjoy it all...
Raising Hope
Episode 2.09 is called "The Men of New Natesville."
The guest lead of the episode is Tammy, a masculine looking woman who used to be Tommy, the high school bully...
Jimmy & Frank find their old nemesis only to discover that the man is now a woman. Sounds like a hoot...
Also needed is a younger version of the same character, the time period requiring the male Tommy who becomes Tammy.
Parenthood
Episode 3.10 is called "Mr. Honesty."
Zoe's boyfriend is being cast. Troy Quinn, a name that reminds me of John Locke's real life actor Terry, is good looking and charming but is unfortunately, a jerk!
His role revolves around an adoption, a dinner and whole lot of compensation. It's a big, possibly recurring role...
The official synopsis states that Adam struggles with firing Rachel, as well as Amber getting a dose of harsh reality when she realises her paychecks aren't enough to fund her living expenses.
The Finder
Episode 1.06 is called "The Conversation."
The guest star for the new series' sixth episode is Gail McCotty, who is attractive and sexy... she's also witty, smart and more intriguingly, lethal!
She's a special agent and begins to suspect Walter of wanting more from her than help with the case, if you get what I mean :P
Also watch out for a one man band, who un-surprisingly plays in a band, alone. Exciting teaser there...
The Middle
Episode 3.07 is called "Halloween III."
In the episode is man who gets pissed at a shopping cart collision, a group of eccentric trick or treaters, a 6 year old Batman and Frankie chasing a woman down the street. Traditional Halloween fare then...
Hawaii 5-0
Episode 2.09 is called "Ike Maka."
The team are left stumped temporarily when a dead guy, who has only recently had a shit load of plastic surgery, ends up in the trunk of a stolen car. I wonder why??
The plastic surgeon, a member of the Irish Mob, a girlfriend who knew less about her dead boyfriend than she thought and a rig manager.
Watch out for an unusual twist where one character discovers that the person he was trying to kill is already dead...
Person Of Interest
Episode 1.08 is called "Foe."
Kohl is a man to watch, a German man who is a determined killer on a mission.
Also look out for the gorgeous Stanton, who is an agency boss with a new directive.
There's no denying, there is a definite German theme to this episode, the German Intelligence & Consulate all have a part to play...
Unforgettable
Episode 1.07
There are two big guest characters entering in this episode, Kevin McMillan, a bailiff of the NYC court system, and Joe Williams who is a grad student from Buffalo.
Kevin is distraught at the loss of his roommate Mary, who was murdered, but is there something that suggests he could be a suspect?
Joe is a man with a dark path, and is intent on getting access to Kevin's gun to help expose the truth. It's a vital role in the episode...
A Gifted Man
Episode 1.07
Guest starring in the episode is Gemma, who is a fire-fighter who is on leave after having to choose between saving children or teachers on a day care center.
She's trying to hide her secret use of anti-depressants and her tough exterior acts as a good shield.
Parks & Recreation
Episode 4.09 is called "The Trial."
In the episode is Allenbach, a middle aged man who is a committee member presiding over a local hearing.
He's firm, no nonsense and by the books...
Justified
Episode 3.01 is called "The Gunfighter."
The story sees Arnett mixing with some dangerous guys out in Detroit, as well as Winona seeing a different side to Raylan when they are caught off guard by a gunman...
Suburgatory
Episode 1.09 is called "The Nutcracker" and Episode 1.10 is called "Driving Miss Dalia."
Revenge
Episode 1.09 is called "Solitude."
A recurring guest star is Kioshi Takeda who is a Japanese businessman who is a potential investor to Grayson Financial. However, he may have more than investing in mind...
Charlie's Angels
Episode 1.08 is called "Angels In The Fastlane."
I would tell you more, but I doubt it'll get this far :P
Once Upon A Time
Episode 1.09 is called "True North."
In the episode is two characters Ava and Josef who may be only runaways in Storybrooke, but in Fairy Tale Land are the legendary Hansel & Gretel. The cheese is in for that episode then...
Awake
Episode 1.04 is called "That's Not My Penguin."
A key character in the episode is Gabe Marks, a troubled, schizophrenic yet very talented and intelligent man.
He was a rising star in the government research lab, but his condition damaged his life and had led to him being locked up in a hospital for the criminally insane.
When he manages to hold 15 people hostage, Britten comes in to talk about his demands. The pair undoubtedly connect due to the similarities between Britten's double world and Gabe's fantasy world created by his schizophrenia.
Hope you enjoyed the news. See you for more next week.

ReplyDeleteIndeed! My favourite is Awake's title "That's Not My Penguin"
ReplyDeleteI love that title!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great title isn;t it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say... Damages could take a lesson from Awake in fun Title names.
ReplyDeleteJustified Season 3 premiere is called Gunfighter? Ohhhh Waylan gets to shoot somebody.... again.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I had forgotten about The Finder. Now that I'm reminded I have to try to forget about it again TYVM.
Adam, I applaud your decision to incorporate the term "shit load" into your teasers column. It took my by surprise and amused me to no end. I also appreciated your comment at the end of your Charlie's Angels teaser.
ReplyDeleteHaha, nice one on Charlie's Angels.
ReplyDeleteRaising Hope can take the most absurd or most overdone topics and make them hilarious. I can't wait to see how they handle a transgendered bully. As for Once Upon a Time, I can't wait to see the first episode because I have a feeling this one is hit or miss. Here's hoping they have fun with it and make it kind of campy.
ReplyDeleteThe gunfighter! Can´t wait to see Raylan again. Even better if he get´s to shot somebody.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the Justified scoop, 2012 is too far way for new episodes!
ReplyDeleteJustified, I still think Tim should have won an Emmy. He is perfect in this role.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fresh info, Adam!
ReplyDeleteYes, he should have won. Love his part. Boyd is also amazing.
ReplyDeleteH5-0!!!!! can't wait to monday!
