Hey Guys,

Yesterday saw wins for Damon Salvatore and Dana Scully, who will show-down in the next round, which begins tomorrow after the final day of round two today. We say goodbye therefore, to Michael Westen and The Doctor, who both did well to reach this far!

Today sees Barney Stinson of How I Met Your Mother take on Olivia Dunham of Fringe as well as Chuck Bass of Gossip Girl challenging todays second Fringe character in Walter Bishop. After these polls are over, the final 16 remaining characters will become 8... It's crunch time...

Currently leading the prediction competition is TheSpoilerGirl, who is on 51 points and has jumped ahead of yesterdays leaders Amber English & JerMd who are on 50. To see your score head HERE

For anyone new to the competition the rules are simple. Every day there will be a new set of polls between characters who are bidding to become the winner of the second STV Character Competition.

All you have to do is to vote for whichever characters are your favourite and at the end of the 24 hours whichever character has more votes will be the winner and will progress into the next round. There are three rounds before the quarter finals, semi finals and then the final...

Don't forget to tweet, facebook, google+ and spread the word about the characters and shows you love to try and boost your chances of winning.

All that is left to say, is let the battles commence...

  2. Oh, okay. So it's 3 votes each for Olivia and Walter so far, and none for Chuck Bass. I was really anxious about the current result for Walter vs. Chuck Bass. I mean Chuck Bass simply can't win this time, can he?

    ReplyDelete
  22. The only show i watch is gossip girl out of the three so i'm voting Chuck but also because of his amazing quote this week
Chuck: People like me don't write books, they're written about

    ReplyDelete
  30. Barney by a hair.  Walter by at least 2 universes.

    ReplyDelete
  31. This probably won't make you feel better, but you can hold that dread until at least next year's competition.  All the LOST characters have already been beaten I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hehe... there's no what to think today... Olivia and Walter, of course. Two of the best characters on television nowadays. FTW!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Olivia and Walter without a doubt. Fringe Friday!

  37. remember just voting on like 4 different lost charcters in the past 2-3 weeks and most of them won. Kate Lost, and Juliet I believe. Jack won and some others I can't remember won.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Walter losing from a gossip girl character...how sad is that?

    ReplyDelete
  39. The world is NOT fair: i cannot possibly believe olivia dunham will beat barney stinson in a character competition! and for emphasis, i shall repeat the word "CHARACTER"!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Round two has been brutal on a lot of characters.  I'm watching my favorites drop one by one.  One thing's for sure, voting in round two is far easier than round 1 and round 3 will be even easier now that some awesome characters (**cough Buffy and Fox Mulder cough**) are gone.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Olivia and Walter for me. Fringe FTW! :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. This isn't a beauty contest...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Olivia and Walter :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Right now Chuck Bass is in the lead 1051 votes to 755

    ReplyDelete
  45. Noooooo. I really don't like him as a character. Though I suppose there is the comfort of knowing that on this side of the competition he is going to come up against a Winchester at some point.

    ReplyDelete
  46. so sad, so sad. Some people must be in an alt universe where GG is better. Because in this world Walter is the best character ever. Can´t believe it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I know, so sad! Walter is amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Only if he gets to the finals, and I really hope somebody stops him first. Olivia, if Walter doesn't really make it today. But I still have hope, come on, people, where are the fringies? I cannot go to other websites because I still haven't seen yesterday's episode, but wouldn't somebody here rally our forces to help Walter win this?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Wow something called Chuck Bass is ahead of Walter.
    Whoudathunkit?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Olivia and Walter!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Seriously, how are people voting for Olivia!? Most boring character in the history of television! lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. Olivia and Walter all the way! Sad to see that Walter is currently behind by 200 votes :(

    ReplyDelete
  53. Anna Torv. Major Awards: No Nominations.
This is so unbelievable for me. she's amazing actress and deserves Emmy

    ReplyDelete
  54. oh I agree :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh yes! I don't doubt that if he continues a Winchester will beat him

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm gonna a call a re-do if John Noble losses!!! Comeonpeople!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Walter and Olivia FTW.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Now Walter is gone?   What is happening in this competition?  I couldn't have predicted worse if I tried.  So sorry to see Walter go.  He makes Fringe fun.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Welcome to SpoilerTV.  Glad to have you.  While I don't think Olivia is boring per se, my vote goes to Barney because Barney makes me laugh but the constant need to tell Olivia she is special makes me roll my eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Did Walter just lose to a freakin' GG character?
    This is sickening.

    ReplyDelete
  61. You make me roll my eyes.
    :P
The woman was stuck in another world, fed memories that made her act differently and locked up to be experimented on and then murdered, then she comes back home to find the man she loves has fallen in love with an imposter and feels like she's replaceable and obsolete, which threw her back to her original state of being cut off from the world (you know, because she was beaten on a regular basis and then experimented on by a man messed up on LSD!)...Peter saw how much this hurt her, and he did his best to show her how much she meant to him. How far he'd go to see her happy, which is rather big of him to do. I think it was Peter's chance to show that he truly wanted to be with her, and instead of arguing with her, he was nothing but positive and let her sort through the traumatic events that had just taken place. How well would you fare in these circumstances, Dahne?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Fan Girls...they multiply quickly and vote in polls religiously. What can you do but wish them away?

    ReplyDelete
  63. lol me too XDDDD but we still have Nathan Fillion! that cheer me up a lot! :P (although I predicted that wrongly xDDD)

    ReplyDelete
  64. This sucks. I cannot believe John Noble lost.Where the hell was everyone?

    ReplyDelete
  65. It's a sad day for humanity, it make's me wish that skynet really becomes sentient.

    I need to grieve.

    ReplyDelete
  66.  "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
Take this at heart, because it was we, who let such great injusty happen, for now Chuck Bass usurped Walter's rightful place.

Cry in shame, for it was our own doing, for there will always be half-minded fangirls out there, and we did nothing to stop them from commiting such atrocious aberration.

And yes, I do have an unparalleled love for hyperbole.

    ReplyDelete
  67.  Need a tissue? I know i needed one when i saw the results.ugh!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well, guys, I can't believe that we fringies let Walter lose, I was watching it happen during the last 4 hours or so of the poll but couldn't do anything. You Americans must take into account that on Fringe Friday and the following day the overseas fringies are busy trying to watch the episode and meanwhile avoiding the Fringe websites and might therefore not be available for these kind of polls. So, please, I want to see Peter and Olivia getting real love in Round 3, allright? Now that we so horribly let Walter go into that awful non-existence ethereal plane.

    ReplyDelete
  69. John Locke and Walter Bishop are both out, and they lost to abysmal characters.......these polls are valid anymore.  WOW....oh the humanity.
