The 2011 STV Character Competition - R1 - Day 7 - Daenerys Targaryen (Game of Thrones) vs. Mary Shannon (In Plain Sight) & Jack Bauer (24) vs. Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory)

Hey Guys,

Yesterday saw two convincing wins for Sam Winchester and Temperance Brennan, seeing off Sookie Stackhouse and Penny with relative ease. One thing that is for certain is that both characters will face tougher tests over the next few rounds.

Today we have Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones taking on Mary Shannon of In Plain Sight as well as action hero Jack Bauer from 24 challenging The Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper for a place in the next round. Four characters from four very different shows, so it will be interesting to see which makes it into the next stage.

For anyone new to the competition the rules are simple. Every day there will be a new set of polls between characters who are bidding to become the winner of the second STV Character Competition.

All you have to do is to vote for whichever characters are your favourite and at the end of the 24 hours whichever character has more votes will be the winner and will progress into the next round. There are three rounds before the quarter finals, semi finals and then the final...
