Hey Guys,

Yesterday saw our biggest all-round turnout for the competition so far, as Chuck put in an impressive performance to defeat Nikita by over 60%. In the second and much closer poll, Kate Beckett showed the strength and support she has from Castle fans to overcome a tough challenge in very popular Vampire Diaries character Caroline Forbes.

Today sees Ziva David of the ever popular NCIS trying to beat True Blood's Vampire Eric Northman is a poll sure to see two very different sets of fans competing. Also today we have a very tough challenge for The Good Wife's Alicia Florrick as she is facing pre-competition favourite Dean Winchester for a place in the 2nd round. Can there be a huge shock? 1. I voted Dean today... that's all I voted. :)

    ReplyDelete
  2. I was all amazed that Dean had 100% of the votes until I realized that this poll just went up and only three have been cast xD

    ReplyDelete
  3. Ziva and Dean are the obvious choices here.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Ziva and Dean for me!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. Voted for Eric even though from the episodes of NCIS I have seen I like Ziva too.

The second poll kills me. Julianna is amazing as Alicia and it sucks that TGW doesn't have a big fanbase here because that show is on fire as far as I'm concerned. I voted Dean because I still like Dean quite a bit more and he's one of my favorite characters in general. I just wanted to point out that Alicia is awesome and should get due respect.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Eric Northman and Dean Winchester for me! :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. Couldn't agree more, both with your choices and your reasoning.
As far as the competition goes I think Ziva might beat Eric, but no way does Alicia beat Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  8. voted for Eric and Alicia, but I'd rather Eli Goldman form TGW

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ziva and Alicia for me, two badass characters in two different ways.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ziva and Dean.
I really hate True Blood, so anyone will get my vote against any character from True Blood.
Second poll is tough. But Dean always be my favourite.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I watch The Good Wife and think it's an excellent show, but to be honest, I find Alicia a little bland.  She needs to smile once in a while.  If it was Kalinda it would be a tougher choice.

So I voted for Dean.  I didn't vote in the first competition.  I like Ziva but I've never seen True Blood, and I don't love her enough to vote blindly for her.

    ReplyDelete
  12. xD I've only seen 1st season of True Blood and I agree with you, I will vote against any character from it! I don't know if I'll like Eric or somebody if I continue watching it, but by now, I hate all of them! :/

    ReplyDelete
  13. Voted for Ziva and Dean, really no competition. Though I do have Eric Northman written down in my bracket instead of Ziva.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I like Ziva and Dean is a no hands down choice.

    ReplyDelete
  15. NOOO MAI COTE IS LOOSING ALL PEOPLE LIOKE IS GEY ASS VAMPIRE SHOWS

    ReplyDelete
  16. I agree one hundred percent.  Excellent choices.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't like NCIS, and I've never seen True Blood, so that was a coin-flip for me. The second competition is a no-brainer for me: The Good Wife is a decent show, but nothing and no one about it could ever compare to Dean Winchester.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ziva and Dean!

I like Ziva, even though she's not my favorite character from NCIS.Plus,I will never understand the whole obsession with True Blood.I've watched season 1 and I was incredibly disappointed.

I don't really have to give an explanation for the second poll! It's Dean...

    ReplyDelete
  19. I disagree...
I find, much like Olivia Dunham from season 1 - season 2 she was quiet and kept herself locked up. And I think that in the last 3rd of season 2 she finally realized that this was not the way to be and she let go of her emotions and got very angry as well as sad. When you've got a lot of shit on your plate, you probably don't smile very often. I think that in season 3 we'll get to see her happier and we'll get to see another side of Alicia...

    ReplyDelete
  20. How can anyone compete against Dean Winchester

    ReplyDelete
  21. I tried to watch True Blood in season one.  I never got past the pilot.  I'm not into graphic sex on television.  True Blood left nothing to the imagination.  I told  one of my housemates who had it on the big tv downstairs to take it to the one her room.  We had a child living there and the show was not suitable for anyone under 21.  I am not an old fogey.  I don't mind sex on a show or movie but what I saw on the small amount of the True Blood pilot was not for television.  I realize it is on HBO, but still not for me.  I read more about each episode and the story line.  I preferred Blood Ties and Moonlight.

    ReplyDelete
  22. You don't have to have an explanation for Dean.  We, who watch the show, understand. lol  I like Ziva, but like you, she's not my favorite character on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ziva and Dean!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ziva and Dean! Eric has NOTHING on Ziva as a character!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah, I've only recently started to watch TB and I'm waiting till the finale but so far it's been nothing but sex and that's not what I tune in for, really.

I will say though, that Sookie character surprised me when she interrupted the two vamps talking about her like she's not in the room "Now that you two are finished you think maybe I could speak for myself?"

    ReplyDelete
  26. The first poll was a very difficult one, but I thought about it for a while and ended up voting for Eric Northman. I absolutely love Ziva and I think she's a kick-ass character and I thought her whole storyline was brilliant, but in the end Eric is more the kind of character that deserves this vote, at least from me. No, not because he's quite handsome or a vampire, but because I like the mystery and the way he's talks to people. Not about them, but TO them, though *g* (also, I have to be honest and admit that without having read the books - True Blood - I probably would have voted for Ziva ...)

Second poll was easy. Dean Winchester. (He shouldn't have done what he did to Lisa though *sigh*)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I tried to like Alicia.  I don't hate her, but I've been wondering recently if the casting was wrong here.

I usually like strong female characters.  I always liked Olivia, and I loved Scully from X-Files.  Not sure what it is about Alicia.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well, we all have our own thoughts on different actors so that's fine. But I really like her. I love the whole cast actually. Everyone from Kalinda to Eli Gold are just absolutely riveting on screen. I guess you disagree but I really like Julianna's quiet and calculative Alicia. But I'm still hoping Alicia gets to the place I've wanted her to be for the last season or so...

    ReplyDelete
  29. I agree that the rest of the cast is excellent - Peter, Will, Diane, Kalinda, Eli ...

    ReplyDelete
  30. comon true blood fan push that boton erick need help vote right now.

    ReplyDelete
  31. skeptical_inquirer4 September 2011 at 17:49

I'd vote for Dean but Alicia actually matters on the show and is sure to have a storyline.  Also her show is way better now.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Really?
Ok last time I checked it's a story about two brothers.
Ever year it's allways somebody complaining which side geting more attention.

    ReplyDelete
  33. What an odd comment to make. Even if I agree that The Good Wife is an exceptional show.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Voted for Dean and Eric. I admit I prefer pre-Gamble'd Dean but he's still Dean so he's still awesome and I'll always think so. :D

    ReplyDelete
  35. You know, I'm beginning to think that the ONLY reason you come here is to spread hate and discord.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hasn't Sera been writing for the show since the first season?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Dean matters to more than just fans.  He matters to Sam.  He matters to Bobby.  He matters to Cas.  He matters to the hundreds of people he saved.  He mattered to the monsters (including Eve) who he killed.  He mattered to John and Mary.  He mattered to Lisa and Ben.  He matters to Crowley (in a denim-wrapped nightmare kind of way).  And I could go on and on here.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just ignore it.  You've got to laugh at comments like that.  Dean obviously matters to the show.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yes Sera written many Dean centric episode since season 1 so I just don't understand why some people think she's just for one charector.
My guess is only if people not feeling a storyline to much they jump to that conclusion.
Some People did hate the Ben in Lisa storyline.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Totally agree.
Dean's basically Sam's chauffeur and has no storyline of his own.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Eric Northman and Dean Winchester.

    ReplyDelete
  42. To step in to this entire thread before people start taking things personally, lets not have anyone getting annoyed or anything. If you like Dean, then you like Dean. If you like Sam, then you like Sam. If you like both, then you like both.
In all fairness, you all shouldn't care one jot if someone doesn't like the one or the other. Quite happy for everyone to argue one way or the other till the moon turns pink but don't get personal or anything :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I can't wait for the Dean vs. Sam poll that will inevitably happen.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The only show I've seen here is Supernatural, so obviously my vote goes to Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  45. voted for Dean today wohoo -grins-

    ReplyDelete
  46. eric and dean, ftw.. i mean who can beat these guys they are awsome...

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh man too close for Ziva and Eric.  I voted for Eric. Eric is the hottest!  Also, voted for Dean.  Wasn't even a hard decision like the first one.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ziva, all the way! Don't watch Good Wife, but might as well keep the girl power going, so Alicia too.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Eric Northman e Alicia Florrick *-*

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ziva and DEAN (!!!). Though I really like Eric, had to vote for Ziva;) Dean was an obvious choice:)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ziva and Dean :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Eric and Dean.

I haven´t watched Supernatural since season 3, but I always liked Dean.

True Blood is a great serie and Eric is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  53. You are a sadistic monster Wilson. Thanks for that :P

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ah, it was only a matter of time before someone dragged this up again, turning yet another comment section to a Dean vs. Sam war *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ziva & Dean.

Ziva is badass but she's also funny and likeable
Dean is badass but he's also funny and likeable.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ziva and Dean... no brainer! Go Team Winchester! :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Totally voted Dean today. And I was pleased to see that Castiel and Kate Beckett won in previous days. Even though it did hurt to vote against Captain Mal.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hot guys trump gals everytime!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I've come to like her a lot more in season 2 than I did in season 1. In the beginning I just wanted to shake her for continuing to stand by Peter, but I made allowances since I don't have kids and thus no real understanding of what drives parents. Due to the end of season 2 I'm a lot more excited going into season 3 than I was this time last year.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I loved when he asked Zack's girlfriend if she'd seen the movie Drag me to Hell and told her if she messed with him it would feel just like that. And his relationship with his daughter and America Ferrera's character was quite interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Eric all the way and although Dean will win this easily, I've picked Alicia.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I voted Eric Northman in the first poll, he`s one reason for me to watch True Blood ^^ if he would have been up against Abby from NCIS, well I couldn`t have voted for him ;)
In the second poll my vote goes to Dean Winchester, of course! He `s my favorite character of all time! There`s not one character I would choose over him , neither from the past nor from current shows!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Eric and Dean for me

    ReplyDelete
  64. ...if that's your opinion of Supernatural, I think we might watch different shows. o.O

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ziva and Dean. Btw, the photo isn't Dean but Jensen (yes, I know I'm being nitpicky here ;-) ). I still find it amazing that fans can tell if it's Jensen or Dean even in a photo because that's how different in some ways the actor and his character are. :-D You hardly ever see Dean smile.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Come on folks these polls are rather stupid. While I have never watched NCIS, to commercial and to much of a clone for my taste, I have read that It is the #1 watched show most of the time. True Blood is only on during the summer months on a premium channel that you have to pay extra for. While it is a popular premium channel show it certainly does not have the viewer numbers and therefore the fan base of NCIS. NCIS character vs True Blood character, apples to oranges. Not a real valid poll.

    ReplyDelete
  67. If you don't like it then don't join in. Simple really...

    ReplyDelete
  68. he's sitting in the Impala wearing Dean's leather jacket... hmmm...probably a pic taken inbetween scenes.. so yes. it is dean... and jensen ackles of course...

    ReplyDelete
  69. Moonlight was great! I liked that show!! don't know why they cancelled it... :(

    ReplyDelete
  70. Dean winchester. My fave character ever
I also voted ziva. I used to love ncis and i used to love ziva. In fact she's one of the biggest reasons I stopped loving Ncis. But I've never seen true blood. And I did used to love ziva so she got my vote

    ReplyDelete
  71. DEAN WINCHESTER, BABY!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yes I agree with you about the Dean/Lisa thing. That was heartbreaking :(

    ReplyDelete
  73. Haha I like your reasoning! And I totally agree!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Sam Winchester is up against Sookie Stackhouse in tomorrows poll :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. It will probably happen in round three baring a huge upset of some sort. Sad though that I'm betting on Dean kicking Sam out the competition. >_<

    ReplyDelete
  76. I voted for Eric N. and Dean. I love Alicia, but Dean is more popular.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well, the way the tournament is going, that's what's going to happen in round 3.

But when I said "I can't wait" it actually means "I'm going to my apocalypse-proof shelter where I'll weather out the storm"

    ReplyDelete
  78. Here's hoping Ziva can pull off a victory today.  She is an awesome character.  An Israeli Mossad who emigrates to the US to work in NCIS after being betrayed by her political heavy father, she has all the action skills of Nikita with the compelling back story unheard of in most crime procedurals.  The women of NCIS rock.  Taking down the bad guys one neck chop and strand of hair at a time.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I'm hoping for a NCIS miracle myself.  Ziva isn't my favorite character at NCIS (that would be Abby), but she is always intriguing and in my opinion a major step up from Kate.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Abby will now and forever be my favorite character on NCIS - she's the heart of the show.  However, I came into NCIS later than most (hated it the first couple times I saw it) and was shocked to hear that people originally hated her character.  I found her to be far more interesting than Kate and she kicked butt better too.  I guess if I had watched it from the pilot it might have been different.  In the end, I cannot imagine NCIS without Zive adn that's enough to get my vote.  Well that and the fact that I am NOT a True Blood fan.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I also "can't wait"  as in can't wait to get the hell out of Dodge at that point.  I hate everything that smacks of brother wars and that one has the potential to get very nasty.  Personally I hope everyone says positive things about the character they vote for and nothing about the other character.  The last thing we want is for Supernatural fans to tear each other down in front of people who might be persuaded to try Supernatural if the "fans" don't scare them away.  It's a great show.  Let's hope the "fandom" doesn't get in the way.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Funny because I think that Faith is one of the best episodes of them all.  I love both brothers in that one and it was written by Gamble.  Considering that she's been there the whole time as a writer and helped shape the characters, I'm not sure how you can even have a pre-Gamble Dean.  Perhaps you're thinking of the original plot outline that Kripke pitched before the series got picked up.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Hmm, not for me.  I vote Ziva because she takes down the bad guys.  I vote Dean because he is a great brother and he takes down the bad guys.

Just to clarify, I am voting for beaten to a bloody pulp so you can't recognize his features and his face is swollen to pumpkin status Dean just as much as I am voting for sniper or interrogator Dean today.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Actually it doesn't matter what the ratings are for a show.  It matters how many online fans it has that come to SpoilerTV.  I'd say you will find a number of low-rated shows beating rating giants in this contest because passionate online viewers tend to follow genre shows more.  There is a great chance that Eric will win against Ziva on this site.

This is a fun way to pass the time before hiatus and a great way to promote the low-rated show you love to others who may love it too.  If you honestly think that any public poll on the internet can be taken as scientifically valid, there's a great website for dehydrated water I use with my middle schoolers.  It's all just for fun.

    ReplyDelete
  85. THANK YOU!!! Kate never did it for me, though her death was important to the show as a whole, and even with the awkwardness that ensued when Ziva was brought on board, she seemed much more interesting to me than Kate ever did and I love the way she's grown since she joined NCIS in Season 3. (The show films locally to me, and I've been on set more than a few times. I love both Sasha and Cote, and both are incredibly sweet women, but when it comes to the characters they played/play, Ziva speaks to me more than Kate.)

As for your True Blood comment, there are SO many plot holes one could drive a truck through now that I just can't stand it! I used to be a hardcore fan of the show, but they've driven me away with bad writing and kowtowing to the most vocal fans instead of staying true to their own visions.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Moonlight was cancelled because Nina Tassler has no clue what she's doing at times, and she was unwilling to pay $2.5 million per episode. If she had, CBS would have the huge vampire hit and could have truly claimed to beat HBO to the punch with the current popularity of vampires on tv.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I voted for Dean Winchester.
What can we say, the character has practically taken on a life of it's own,  much like a Holodeck character, a virtual reality............. and Kudos to Jensen Ackes for making him seem so real.

Then I vote for Ziva David as she too is a very complex character,  capable,  ironic and snarky, a bit like Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Eric Northman and Dean Winchester. Obvious choices. I don't know why anyone would pick Alicia over Dean.

    ReplyDelete
  89. People who don't watch Supernatural maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thank you! 
Now (hopefully) it won't be much of a contest!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Janet,
“Spoiler” isn't asking about the shows....this is purely an opinion on LOOKS, nothing else!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I don't know if you meant it that way, but your post sounds kinda bitchy, ya know?

The Good Wife's Alicia looks completely serious, and IMO, humorless.
Supernatural's Dean is *laughing* in the picture!

Maybe that alone is enough for some people to vote for Dean... ?

I know that would influence me if I wasn't familiar with both shows...

    #JustSaying

    ReplyDelete
  93. Not really. This competition is favorite character, not best looking. Admittedly some people might vote based purely on looks, and it's no surprise that many of the characters are very easy to look at, but I think there's a lot more to it than that. It's about the ability of character to draw us in to their life. To make us believe in that character and engage with them regardless of how bizarre or surreal their 'life' is - and let's face it, Dean Winchester's life certainly is bizarre and surreal. As are the characters' lives in True Blood.
There are many tv shows that I will not watch, regardless of how beautiful their cast members are because I find nothing in the characters that I can relate to, empathize with, or even like.

Surely if this competition were purely about looks, Adam, Andy and the crew would've named it something like The Most Beautiful Actor Competition.

    ReplyDelete
  94. I pity any character that goes up against SN... Looking forward to the brothers head-to-head in R3!

    ReplyDelete
  95. She's usually good at writing for Dean but as a show runner I don't think she has the vision to see a story line pan out over an entire season, or create balance between the two leads. I also think she got carried away with a concept and made the characters fit that concept instead of keeping true to who they are. Dean was used to drive the story forward and at times was written OOC to set up reactions or explainers from other characters. It's not just that I prefer Kripke's plot outline but that Dean felt more a part of the overall story with Kripke and now he's more of a passive observer of the story, more reactive than pro-active, plus the stuff he seems to deal with seem like b-plot stuff. Eve and the phoenix felt like b-plot stuff. I still have confidence in her as a writer but not a show runner.

    ReplyDelete
  96. :/ it was a really bad decision...

    ReplyDelete
  97. If it's "between scenes", then it's not Dean, it's Jensen waiting between takes to become Dean. Haha, yes, I told you I was being nitpicky. ;-) I believe it's one of the pictures where he was with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and playing with his camera. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Actually, I agree with the beginning of what you said.
After I made that post, I went back up and re-read the synopsis (“All you have to do is to vote for whichever characters are your favourite...”) and realized that I'd made a mistake. I then deleted my post. I'm not sure why it's still here?!? Weird.

However, I'm not sure that I would go quite as far as what you're saying... Please refer to the sentence I quoted above... I just don't think it's as deep/detailed as you're saying, IMO.

I think that it's more along the lines of what Dahne posted (below). Again, just my opinion.

But thank you for sharing your point of view - it was interesting to read.

    ReplyDelete
  99. This, exactly.
However I know better and I will be steering clear anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Dean Winchester all the way a amazing character played by a amazing actor.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Actually, Dark's post is not at all bitchy. Your reasoning in this post is "bitchy."
Because she's got a serious look on her face suddenly she's humorless and there's no reason to vote for her? Whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Miss Suzanne

Not "bitchy" at all. A person asked a question on my site and as site owner I thought I would supply a reasonable answer.I've watched both shows and I prefer Alicia over Dean. The photo had Zero impact  on how I voted. I voted on the basis of my personal experience and enjoyment of watching both shows.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Ziva, even though im from sweden

    ReplyDelete
  104. Really?I didn't know that people hated Abby...She's my second favorite character after Tony.Definitely more interesting than Kate.Kate wasn't a bad character,I just think that we didn't get to know her enough.I like Ziva more, even though she used to annoy me at first.

    ReplyDelete
  105. The second Moonlight was cancelled, I wanted to go to Nina's office and yell at her about it. She could have had the FIRST big vampire show in 2008, and CBS would have had a bragging point over HBO!

    ReplyDelete
  106.  Dean was the first TV character that REALLY made me feel something strong, and I still feel that way about him. My vote goes to him. Forever.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Take from someone who got thrown out of the show by bad plot lines and holes you can still drive a truck through years later: there's a lot of stuff in True Blood that definitely needs to be explained, and it seems like there's a large contingent of Eric fans because he's "hot" and a viking who gets off on being in control of everyone and everything surrounding him. I don't understand the attraction, nor the double standard the heroine has for her first love and Eric. It seems that her first love wronged her, but when new boyfriend Eric is in the picture, he can do the EXACT SAME THING and it won't get a blink from her!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Sorry, I meant to add that I voted for Ziva and I was shocked to hear that people hated Ziva's character at first in a backlash to Kate's death.  I will edit what I said before so it isn't confusing.  That's what I get for trying to post quickly in between hosting relatives duties.

When did Julianna Margulies start looking like Famke Janssen?

  110. Don't worry about it...  : )
Actually I didn't know that people hated Ziva either,so that's still new information.Generally I'm not well informed when it comes to NCIS.It took me about one season to really warm up to Ziva.It had nothing to do with Kate's death, even though it remains a huge shock.I still remember that scene..It was hard to pick my jaw off the floor after it!

  111. well, I haven't seen 2nd,3rd and 4th season, so I didn't know that! :/ XDD and Eric for me is only a vampire who has been on screen for 3 times? more or less... XD and I can't stand Sookie!

  112. I can't stand her either! (But I've got mad love for Anna Paquin. She's a total sweetie.)

  113. I haven't seen any interview of her... I should! :P

  114. I never saw any of those... XD I think it says a lot! :P

  115. mmm As much as entertaining and fun these polls are, I always have wondered what is the criteria used to put 2 series competing together. Is it random? If it's been said somewhere please direct me where it is :) Thank you!

  116. For me it is that deep/detailed.

  117. There's a rather large & growing contingent of fans who don't give a rip about ziva & would be perfectly happy to have her killed off the show.  & losing kate had nothing to do with it....ziva managed to make many hate her on her own.

  118. Ok, my apologies! It's just that it's really hard to tell “tone” in typed words, ya know? That's why I said, “I don't know if you meant it that way”. 

  119. All I did was state my opinion. If you choose to take it that way, there's nothing I can do about it.
And I see that Dark had no problem letting me know that he *wasn't* being bitchy, (and in a friendly way,) which was what I was asking.

And no, I personally don't think my opinion of the picture is ridiculous, and I didn't say there was no reason to vote for her.

I simply stated how it made *me* feel, and how *I* would react to it if I wasn't familiar with either shows. It's a normal human reaction, and one that a large percentage of the population would have.
People are automatically drawn to a smile... How is that ridiculous?

I've given my reasoning, & my opinion to answer you. I answered Dark the way I would want to be answered.
Now I really hope this is done. I'm not here to fight, thanks.

  120. Ok, well then... I don't know what you want me to say. Enjoy.

  121. Hey, where are results for Dea's poll?

    ReplyDelete
  122. LOL I don't want you to say anything. I was merely re-stating my opinion that for me this competition is about more than just looks. And, while it IS all about having fun, I also like to put a little thought into my voting.

  123. I don't want to offend anyone by saying this, but I really detest shows that rely on sex to get viewers! IMO, if a show can't stand alone without using sex, OR sex appeal (IE looks) then I don't think it's worth watching... (& here's a bad spot to add that I don't find Eric attractive at all!)  lol!

And honestly — does *anyone* like Snookie? I find it fascinating that she's so hugely popular, when I've yet to run into anyone who actually likes her!!?

    ReplyDelete
  124. LOL, if you feel that way about the show, ignore the books it's based on! (And I agree with you on Eric. I don't know what people see in him that's so "swoon-worthy" at all!)

I think Sookie's popular because people want to have the men after them that are after her.

  125. Can anybody see the Dean Winchester vs. Alicia Florrick poll?
I want to know the final scores but it's not showing up on my browser.

    ReplyDelete
  126.  Thanks for the warning, Isis! lol!

And... Guys *honestly* like Snookie? Seriously? *shaking head* IDK, I like my guys to have a brain, personally...
But a lot of guys only see boobs, and fall in love, so you're right.

    *sigh*

  127. That would be surprising.  I guess the story can't carry well enough on it's without a tremendous of sex?  I find it hard to believe that any story line beyond porn requires that much sex.  I know they have it Supernatural but it follows the story line.  It's not quite that graphic.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Yeah, and it had Alex O'Loughlin too.  AND it has almost as avid a fan base as Supernatural.  I still love the show and am still a fan.  We aren't happy that it was cancelled without an ending to it.  It was left wide open with a lot of unanswered question.   The garlic campaign was interesting.  the blood donations still occur in the name of the show.   Alex is the spokesperson for the Red Cross and still does so with the fans supporting it.
