    Oh come on! They keep saying that have no intention of bringing Pete and Myka together anytime soon, which I'm fine with by the way, but they keep either making them flirt shamelessly with each other or they get into situations that move a possible future relationship a lot further.

    In just this season so far there has been more movement on that ship than in any of the previous seasons combined. Now they're putting Pete in the path of a bullet that is likely shot by the guy who killed Myka's old lover and partner?

    Seriously, the writers of this show need to backoff a bit if they want the shippers to be patient.

    well, he's her partner ..and the idea of their "possible future" has been there since S1 and later they highlighted it with S2's Warehouse 12 with Pete/Myka impersonating Jack/Rebecca.. I like their friendship plus their flirtation.. the writers are actually very smart with writing their way into Pete/Myka future, if there's one, in a way that is never boring and somehow always open to that idea .. besides the flirtation, I don't see much difference in their relationship this season and I'm glad for that..

    I shipped these two for half Season 1 but then I started enjoying their friendship more and I definitely understand the shippers' impatience 'coz these two are the most brilliantly written and the most compatible future couple on TV right now ..

    I don't recall Myka flirting with Pete much at all.  Pete will throw a little flirting Myka's way once in a while but that's because Pete's a playful guy.  It's just part of who he is.  If these two got together any time soon, I wouldn't buy it at all.  It would seem forced and inauthentic.

    I agree, I think the show would be better if Myka played the sister role than anything else.

    I agree with that to a point, but right now I think Myka's playing too much of the big sister role.  She seems to be constantly walking on eggshells and doting over poor, fragile Pete and his endless list of personal baggage.  Drinking problem, failed marriage, abandonment issues, etc.

    I'd like to see more balance in the relationship.

    I know what you mean, but I think that all this stuff about Pete has been a balance to the Myka-heavy episodes that we had towards the end of last season. Also, my take on what I think the writers are doing is the perfectly normal response of Myka sort of not dealing with her issues by overly-focusing on Pete's, setting up a bite-her-on-the-ass episode later on - big, heavy, pivotal.
    I'm definitely in for this 'ship, but I'm fairly happy with the pace TPTB are taking it at the moment - liking the focus more on the group dynamics, wish they were keeping Jinksy!
