you won't regret it. I read the first 6 issues just to see how different it was from season 1 and over the next 4 days i found myself doing nothing else than just reading and reading 'til i couldn't anymore. I can already picture the next 5 seasons, so epic. lets just hope AMC will let them do the stuff that's done in the comics aswell.
Nigga, you just went full retard, the TV show is sucking hard, its just not the same anymore, its not even based on the comic any more... It stole the name and there isn't anything else in the show that's similar to the comic.
While I like both the comics and TV versions, the episodes are getting boring, unlike the comics.
For one thing, the pacing is sloooooow, particularly the story arcs. I mean, how long are they going to be looking for Sophia and dragging out the angst of Andrea vis-a-vis Dale (and vice-versa)?
Surprisingly, there's too much talking in the TV version, not enough action, even though TV is supposed to be a visual medium.
The comic books... now, they're a different matter altogether (fortunately, for long-time fans, like me. :D)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
i need to start reading these :D
