Hey Guys,
I'm sure you're aware that the Best Character Competition will be beginning shortly. I'm not the greatest at creating brilliant and amazing banners, but I know that some of you love doing such a thing and as a result if you fancy having a go at creating a banner for the competition then that'd be great.
I'll pick out the top few I think are great and would work for the competition, and then either rotate 2 or 3 of them throughout the competition, or I'll draw one out of a hat and use that one for the official one.
Of course, to make it how I'd like it there are a couple of guidelines you need to follow before you let your creative spark go wild :P
1) The banner needs to be 640px wide by 200px high.
2) It needs the official STV logo somewhere, any size or however you'd like to jazz it up is up to you. But it needs to be the official shape :P

3) You need the words "Favourite TV Character Competition 2011" on the banner somewhere.
4) In terms of characters you can go wild and have as many or as few as you like. But I want last years winner, Jack Shepherd from LOST to be on it in some capacity.
5) Once you've made the banner, you can either try to post it into the disqus comments box belowto share with the rest of the community here on STV. But also if possible could you send it in an email to adamdharris@spoilertv.com
Either way will suffice, and both ways would be even better, but whatever is easiest for you :)
Of course if you think you have a better way of creating one without the logo/text/Jack then feel free to go for it. However its more than likely that the one/couple I chose will follow those guidelines.
Other then that its up to you! Have fun, be creative and maybe you're work will get some recognition in the competition which I'm sure will be huge!
