The new season of Rules of Engagement will premiere on Saturday, October 8 at 8:30pm on CBS instead of Saturday, September 24.
Thus, it will kick-off its 6th season in 7 weeks. Rules of Engagement or, as the CBS execs probably call it, "the stopgap that's always handy" - this show has been through so many timelots, filled in to replace new sitcoms failing, survived because of a combination of circumstances (the Writers' Strike, acting as a mid-season replacement because there are always new shows that flop). The show started in February 2007 and has 5 seasons but it never was successful (that's why CBS doesn't care and send it to Saturdays, and they'll bump it to Mondays or Thursdays if either of their 2 new sitcoms fail).
Well anyway the show it still on the air and that's what matters.

Yay?
ReplyDeleteI like it. It's a bit lame in parts but funny over all. Lighten up, people. There's plenty of serious stuff to get gloomy over elsewhere don't you think?
