Gretsch, an alum of such futuristic fare as V and The 4400, is joining the 1960s-flavored NBC drama in the recurring role of the incumbent State’s Attorney, TVLine reports. The politico will also be a semi-regular frequenter of the show’s titular establishment.

    a priest walks to a Playboy Club...yeah...sounds like a start line for new types of jokes. I moderately liked him in V.

    Amber Heard definitely comes from another planet... I'd say Venus (I'm repeating myself but they couldn't have cast a better actress to play a bunny).

    The 4400 had no ending, V had no ending... I hope the writers of The Playboy Club will be clever enough to write episode 1.13 as a decent series finale. The show didn't have much chances before, but now with Joel Gretsch starring, it's like we can already write carve December 12, 2011 on its tombstone.
