the Red John influence on the show will stay until the end, if you ask me. One way or another, they will always be an overarching story that spans the entire show. Thats what distinguishes this show from the other procedurals.
Right! This is the reason why I fell in love with The Mentalist... it is different from the other procedurals. It's so good that RJ subtext is going on because it makes everything more interesting and intriguing!
