The Hard Times of RJ Berger - Cancelled
12 Aug 2011
Cancelled ShowsThe Hard Times of RJ Berger creator Seth Grahame-Smith just announced on Twitter that his show has been cancelled by MTV.
Hard Times premiered on June 6th 2010 and rapidly became quite successful. MTV ordered a second season, which began on March 24th 2011 but this time, ratings were slightly down and hard to maintain in front of big network shows (the first season was broadcast in summer, season 2 was not). And now, MTV has two much more successful shows on the air. The Season Two Finale, which is now known as Series Finale, aired on May 30th 2010. A total of 24 episodes of The Hard Times of RJ Berger were produced.
Other MTV original scripted series include a remake of Skins (cancelled after a single 10-episode season) and two shows currently on the air : Teen Wolf (already renewed for a second season) and Awkward (season 2 is almost a lock, especially given that RJ Berger won't have a 3rd season).
