Heh. Webber steps down and gives Owen the job because Richard is fed up with being Chief. It was mentioned in the article you posted a couple of days ago. http://www.spoilertv.com/2011/08/greys-anatomy-season-8-find-out-who-new.html
Shonda is probably doing this so Mer can be a Mom to Zola for a few episodes! Hunt will probably bring her back eventually. As for Derek...he better stop being such a baby and go back to his family!
Yes, you could see it being her nightmare and then she wakes up and goes 'thank God, just a dream'. And then the Chief calls her in and tells her he took the fall for her, and that will probably make her feel a lot worse than if the dream had been real.
A second thing to note is that this is supposed to be from the first episode. It would be really weird to fire the main character (the Grey in Grey's Anatomy I mean) in the first episode. Now I remember in the final season of West Wing they started the first episode with a scene that wasn't concluded until the last episode. But to have the arc for the entire season be about whether Meredith's career is finished? Dream sequence strikes me as more realistic? palatable? doable?
WOOOOOOOW...Greys how I miss this show..I think chief webber will do something to keep Mer in the program but will loose his job as chief because of it..
OMG !!! She doesn't deserve that !! That's unfair !!! She didn't kill anybody !!! Izzy killed a man and she wasn't fired !!!! Come on people !!!! She's Meredith !!!
It sounds a little like Heart on Fire by Luminate, but I'm not absolutely sure. Maybe they'll use it in the actual episode and list it on ABC's webpage for the show. They are usually pretty good about that. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Well, its obvious she wont be fire for long, maybe itll turn into a suspention, but if this was anything like real life, she would so be out of there. Im not saying I dont want her to still be a doctor, but she has to know what she did was very wrong!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wait, I thought Webber was taking the fall for Meredith. I am confuse.
ReplyDeleteWHAAAAT? This can't be.. But who is the chief taking the fall when he already fired her? Can't wait to see this episode..
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a dream sequence.....right???
ReplyDeleteThat was my first thought. Why would they show us this as a sneak peek, it has to be a dream, if not I will be p*ssed
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Lovin' it. Meredith fired. Bring on the drama!
ReplyDeleteanyone knows the song ?
ReplyDeletePfft. That won't last long.
ReplyDeleteHmmm how come I feel that there might be a BUT coming.... wasn't it scooped that Chief Webber will no longer be chief?

ReplyDeleteI agree it really does sound like a dream or in Meredith's case a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteBut it was also mentioned that he took the fall for Meredith, so...

ReplyDeleteWell... If the trial is scrapped because of her, and thier drugs really would cure Alzheimers... then ... she killed a lot of people. :P
