CHLOE'S LOYALTY TO THE SAN FRANCISO MAI IS TESTED, IN ABC FAMILY'S ORIGINAL SERIES, "THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING," PREMIERING TUESDAY, JULY 12 AT 9:00PM ET/PT
Burbank, CA (Wednesday, June 15, 2011) - As if being responsible for the San Francisco Mai wasn't enough pressure, Chloe meets Nikki (Melanie Kannokada) and Lilah (Floriana Lima), who are both members of the South American Mai. The two girls invite Chloe out for a night of dancing, which she accepts, but Jasmine is suspicious of their motives. As their visit continues, Chloe becomes increasingly frustrated with the way Nikki and Lilah view human life, potentially creating a divide between the different Mai prides. The all-new episode of "The Nine Lives of Chloe King," premieres Tuesday, July 12 at 9:00PM ET/PT on ABC Family.
Meanwhile, Whitley has ordered Brian to return to college. Brian is crushed; not only does he have to say goodbye to Chloe, but he doesn't have any significant leads on his mother's death. After arriving to dinner, Chloe notices Nikki and Lilah sitting with Brian, immediately causing her to panic. Knowing how they feel about humans, Chloe quickly rejects Brian's attempt at a goodbye and sends him away for his own safety, not knowing if she will ever see him again.
As Chloe's life gets more complicated, Amy and Paul hit a rough patch in their relationship. Chloe advises Paul to spice up the romance with Amy, which leaves Amy with a surprise she never saw coming.

Meanwhile, not long after Paul and Amy's break-up, Amy finds a new love interest, Jonah (Bryan Craig). However Chloe's empathic abilities reveal Jonah has feelings of guilt, and Chloe and Paul soon discover why, after following him to an underground gambling den. Furious with her friends for following Jonah, Amy takes a walk on the wild side, where events quickly take a turn for the worse.
Alarmed that Chloe continues to see Brian despite being warned of the potentially fatal dangers, Alek takes out his frustrations - and jealousy - by putting Chloe through increasingly aggressive training sessions. After Chloe and Alek have an argument over a new girl - who turns out to be Mai - Chloe asks him to leave her alone for one night. Though he agrees, Alek cannot help his growing feelings for Chloe and decides to spy on her.

Compassionate to the needs of others, Chloe is unable to turn her back on Kai, a young man who asks Chloe for help in reuniting with his family. Although she eventually learns that Kai is a huge threat to the Mai's safety, Chloe insists on helping him return home. Accompanied by Alek, Jasmine, Paul and Amy, a determined Chloe begins the dangerous journey into Jackal territory. Alek and Jasmine's worst fears are realized when Chloe's mission takes a terrible turn and one Mai could be lost forever.
Meanwhile, even though it has been ten years since Chloe's father vanished, Meredith still feels guilty about dating Frank. In an attempt to move on with their lives, Meredith asks Chloe if she is ok with declaring her father dead, unaware that the two have been in contact.

Burbank, CA (July 6, 2011) - Tension in the King household is at an all-time high due to Meredith's increasing frustration with Chloe's penchant for secrecy. Aware that her relationship with her mother is suffering, Chloe must decide whether she will finally confess her biggest secret to the most important person in her life in an all-new episode of "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" premiering Tuesday, August 2 (9:00 - 10:00 PM ET/PT) on ABC Family.
Given Chloe's strange behavior as of late, Meredith is not happy when Chloe is escorted home by the police after trying to stop a late-night robbery. A concerned Meredith searches Chloe's laptop, looking for insight into her daughter's life. However, Meredith is unprepared by what she finds, knowing the information will change her life forever.
Meanwhile, although Chloe has a deeper connection with Alek than she cares to admit, she also can't deny her feelings for Brian. But when Chloe unintentionally hurts both guys, neither one of them want anything to do with her. When the late-night robber puts the King women in danger, Chloe must do everything to protect her mother and she reaches out to someone she has come to rely on. Will Alek put his personal feelings aside to help Chloe before it's too late, or is this one battle Chloe will have to fight on her own?
