After a couple of days delay we are back up and running into round two of the Romance competition and we have some great battles to come over the next four days of round two...
In the final day of round one we saw Damon & Elena from The Vampire Diaries and Nikita & Michael of Nikita take their place in the next round and ready to do battle with each other in a couple of days :)
Today sees an all LOST smash with Jack & Kate challenging Desmond & Penny as well as Bones favourites Booth & Brennan challenging the third LOST couple of the day, with Sawyer & Kate trying to knock them off the top perch.

ReplyDeleteJack/Kate and Sawyer/Kate. I was a hardcore Jater and people never understood why I could also appreciate the Skate relationship but I was like eh, chill out... of course I was talking to shippers so that was a stupid thing to say. ;)

Just the fact that there are two options with Kate in them made me not vote for either. Definitely Des and Penny, and Brennan and Booth. I mean...Kate's so....undecided throughout 5 of the 6 seasons. xD lol
ReplyDeleteSame here. Des and Penny gave Lost fans such beautiful moments, as did Charlie and Claire. I wasn't a huge fan of Sawyer or Juliet in general, to be honest, but their relationship was nice. :)

it's Jack and Kate.
Desmond and Penny were just as big a couple than either Kate/Jack or Sawyer/Kate. A lot of their relationship drove the plotline, mythology, and endgame. Not to mention they have so much more chemistry than Kate has with anyone. lol.

ReplyDeleteFate is cruel...it appears if I'm reading the above correctly, it will be Sarah and Chuck versus Mulder and Scully...Desmond and Penny, however, take the cake as they were my favorite Lost couple and one of my top 5 favorite couples of all-time. Penny completed Desmond, where Jack needed so much more to see the truth.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I like Jack & Kate, I have to give it to Desmond & Penny. It's amazing how strong their love came across with such little air time. Desmond read her letter during his greatest depair " All we really need to survive is one person who truly loves us and you have found her". This became so true when Desmond needed his constant, Penny, and later when she found him after searching for the impossible and never giving up.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have watched many shows before and after Lost and I have never seen anything as intense as as Lost. The love stories were a small part of the show, but even that aspect was so superior to anything I've seen on other shows. The writers were amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised. I thought Desmond and Penny, who I voted for, would be winning. Don't get me wrong. I like both couples. I just have more fond couple memories with them, like when Desmond calls Penny and when they are reunited.
