ReplyDeleteSorry but I will vote for chuck. I am a massive fan of Doctor who, hell waiting for todays episode already. But I wasn't a fan of RTD's romantic spin on the doctor and a companion. Chuck and Sarah on the other hand are great together and I love them :D

I plan on eventually watching X-Files, saw a couple episodes growing up and liked it. Might do that this summer.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I like the Doctor and Rose, I feel like the focus of that show is almost never on them as a couple. Chuck and Sarah, however, is a different story. I love it how, in my opinion, the show did not get less romantic now they are together. So yeah, voted for Chuck&Sarah.

Mulder and Scully. Cause without them there would be no shipping. Also I haven't seen such a well developed mature relationship in a long time on tv since I watched the X-Files. Some showrunners could learn from it.

What? They were the main couple in Series 1,2,3,4 and Specials. Sometimes it wasn't that obvious, but Rose is always on Doctor's mind.

ReplyDeleteChuck & Sarah are too tough for any couple in the Round One, it's a shame it's Doctor & Rose who are against them. Now I know they won't win this round, but I still love this couple. And don't say they got separated, so there's no point to vote for them. Because they've have FANTASTIC time together, plus Rose is not exactly without the Doctor, and the Doctor will always remember Rose.

Yeah, I get that. I am not saying they were not romantically involved, but in the two shows that are competing (Chuck and Doctor Who) I find that the romantical element in Chuck is more present/important than in Doctor Who.

Mulder/Scully, the ship I spent my entire middle school, high school, and college fandom time rooting for. Gotta give them love. Although TPTB gave them a rather rocky resolution, hands-down, they are still an amazing couple.
ReplyDeleteNow, Chuck and Sarah... WOW. Kids, that's how you hook up your main characters and make it work. Seriously. Hooking them up didn't kill the tension. They've grown as a couple, and their relationship certainly isn't perfect (whose is?) and but they still love each other so much and it's amazing. If you're not watching this show, you should be. Seriously.
Well I would say that depends on person...I don`t like to watch show about some fictitious creatures...Chuck is enough sci-fi for me. It has acceptable fiction, but not VD, I also read Twilight and it was one of most boring books ever.

Hmm, this was hard because I love X-Files and Smallville....But for me I went with Clark and Lois, and, of course, 10 and Rose. :) Ahh, 10 and Rose....one of the best couples, IMO.

I prefer Clark and Lois. I've watched the show for ten years. Other then Supernatural, it's the only thing on the CW I remained continuously loyal too, although I like Vampire Diaries. I work Thursday night and play catch up with it. Of course, I've watched the Doctor for a very, very long time. I'm old enough to remember the first Doctor, the second, and so on.

Once trappedby the emotional spiral that characterizes their love story, you can hardly fail to be moved by the purity of their relationship. It will be for the agreement that exists between Yvonne Strahovski and Zachary Levi, but the romance between Chuck &Sarah feels real.
