Torchwood - Eliza Dushku to star in "Web of Lies" web series spinoff?

After months of waiting, the Torchwood drought is almost over! The revamped series (aka Miracle Day) will finally start airing in July, and it won't be alone. Get ready for a Torchwood web series called Web of Lies, which may or may not star a beautiful badass.

Writer and producer Jane Espenson has been using her Twitter account for evil by teasing fans about Web of Lies. All of her statuses have been hints about the possible casting of Eliza Dushku in the new show.

     Interesting. 

    Webisodes never make or break a series for me but they can be quite fun! This could be very interesting with Dushku involved, but it does seem odd that they choose to create a web parallel with an American actress as the lead....
