This isn't from Let it Bleed. This is from The Man Who Knew Too Much. All of the official stills from ep 22 (The Man Who Knew Too Much) have Sam wearing these exact clothes... You might wanna fix that.
It's not because neither of these episodes coincide together like that. Kripke and Sera confirmed that episode 22 is supposed to take place about a week later after episode 21.
For some reason I get the feeling this is all in his mind after the wall breaks. As there is that clip in the promo of himself telling him to kill himself. Wasn't there a spoiler saying that Dean and Bobby have to sit helpless while Sam has to fight this himself.
And I believe that bartender is Robin, the girl who was in those promo pictures.
Look at the sign at 0:27 in the video, not sure if they were just reusing it for the scene, but Castle Storage. That's the name of the place where John has a storage unit. So maybe this Sam trapped in his mind. But then again maybe they just used the sign for this scene.
I think it's very possible that this is Sam trapped in his mind after the wall falls. I'm also thinking that Robin is going to play a very significant role in this episode for Sam. I also think that with us seeing Castle Storage it kinda gives us an indication that we're in Sam's head because Castle Storage would be one of his memories, just that he doesn't seem to remember anything, including who he is so he wouldn't recognize Castle Storage.
Trippy and worrying and can't wait for Friday! Even though my significant other is going to be in Istanbul :( I'm thinking what everyone else is thinking this is in Sam's head - especial with Castle Storage and the Stellar beer box (it's always been Del Sol beer)...yeah don't judge ;)
Nooo, what if the wall breaking hs such a big impact on Sam that he completely loses his mind and doesn't remember who he is. That would explain the fact that Bobby and Dean don't know how to help him. That would really suck!
Oooh didn't think of that, but it makes sense for all this to be in his head! I knew he'd have to fight himself but I didn't think it would more then outside himself like when he's detoxing in S4.
Don,t hit me ...but I almost want to say that this beat the alternative 0.o In Unforgiven, in his head, Sam went to hell for about 2 weeks at the end and now he is in this weird place, maybe scared and alone...but it's better than Hell
If this was not just all in his head, that would explain why Bobby and Dean appear to be tracking down Crowley... Maybe they lost track of Sam and he is running around out there with no memory.... If so, maybe Dean and Bobby take down Crowley on their own... with a last minute help from Castiel.
I was wondering why they would be out there tracking down Crowley if Sam was a drooling mess on the floor...
If it is all in Sam's head, I was wondering if maybe Dean does another deal with Death to try to get Sam's mind re-patched.... and that is why they leave him. I so can't wait for this Friday. I haven't seen two 'new' episodes at once since I first started watching the series and I had 2.5 years to catch up on... That was absolute heaven... 52 episodes, fresh and new.... I "thought" I was hooked by the end of the Pilot, until Skin came along. Starting off with Dean as "the bad guy" totally blew my mind and I was REALLY hooked..
Now I am so, so, so looking forwarding to two new hours back to back!
I got a feeling that in finale Lisa will die And Ben will stay alive so Dean will have to take care of him. About Sam, I got a feeling that Dean&Bobby will ask from someone to take care of Sam (because he wont remember who is he) and that season 7 will start when something will happen to him :)
Anyway, the sneak peek looks awsome. can't waite :(
Our beloved Sam certainly looks scared and is, literally, running for his life. When did this happen? Was this right after he saw Dean at Lisa's or after he attacked that cop when he was with Grandpa creepy? I hope we see how he hooked up with him and who found who first. This season finale is going to be epic (just like the rest) and will definitely keep us hanging until the fall. Is this supposed to wrap up by the end of the episode or will the season premiere pick up where the season finale left off? I know, too early to tell. But, hey, at least we will have something to look forward to when the fall gets here!
I noticed some big significances to Sam in this clip. The first one, Castle Storage. That's his father's lockup shown in Sympathy for the Devil where they found out Dean was Michael's vessel. It was also where Zachariah broke his legs. The Nite Owl Cafe has the same name of the motel in Live Free or Twihard, the Night Owl Motel.
A friend and I also had a theory on Robin. Do you remember Jared talking about "fresh starts" and "new beginnings" and such? Well that girl Robin we've seen in that clip as well as the pictures of her and Sam, right? She brought up the symbolism of the robin. Check this out:
"The robin brings a fresh new perspective to situations that are otherwise foggy and unclear. Try calling on robin energy for clarity when your judgement is clouded or when you need light shed on an issue.
The red robin reminds us it's time to shake the sleepiness out of our head (both figuratively and literally), get alert, get moving, and start enjoying life! Spring has sprung, tides have turned, and no matter how crummy or grey our world has been it is time for new beginnings! Enjoy the bright road ahead because it's only going to get brighter!
Not only is the robin a promise of new beginnings with the new cycle of spring in our midst, it carries symbolic meanings of cheer, joviality and light-heartedness. We can see this in the spring of the robin's step, and it reminds us of that wonderful song I quoted in the intro of this post. The song also hails the message: "Live, love, laugh and be happy" and that is precisely what the symbolic meaning of the red robin tells us too.
Robin, Power Animal, Symbol of Growth and Renewal
Robins have a powerful significance in ancient myth and lore. One tale has its origins in European mythology, in which the bird of Spring is linked with the New Year and symbolises divine sacrifice and the rebirth of the spirit.
This is also linked with the Robin's traditional connection to spring - the season of renewal. When we let go of our past - a lot of which stems from childhood experiences - we are refreshed and renewed, thus unburdened and free to nurture and serve ourselves as well as others. If the robins gifts have not been learned and utilised correctly, you will be continually challenged by the prospects of change with difficulties cropping up as well as emotional disharmony. Let go of the past…move on……
If there is an abundant food supply, robins will live the year-round in an area. This can show us that when our heart and soul feels gloomy and cold, we are able to thrive if we possess sufficient inner strength, courage and trust.
Robin will incite new growth in all areas of your life, areas that have become stagnant and out-dated. You must believe in yourself as you move forward for if you do, barriers will disappear, and confrontations will be for show only.
You will be lead to new beginnings without fear by restoring trust in yourself and your soul."
So anyway, those are just my humble thoughts. I posted over at another forum, but I thought it'd be okay to post here too. So, am I on to something? No?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Uh, Sammy, what do you mean you can't remember who you are? I wonder if this happens after the wall breaks.
ReplyDeleteWell, he doesn't look soul-less, at least. But I have a feeling his "head levy" will slowly crack during the episodes until complete meltdown.
ReplyDeleteMan this gonna tear me apart...
ReplyDeleteThis is from "Let It Bleed"?I thought the wall was supposed to break in episode 22..
ReplyDeleteAnyway..This doesn't look good!
Oh my God. I did not see that coming! Wow, I cannot WAIT til Friday.
ReplyDeleteWHAT.THE.HELL SAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMY. Hope he's ok. Jesus.

ReplyDeleteInteresting.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's at the end of 6.21.

ReplyDeleteHOLY MOTHER OF KRIPKE!
ReplyDeleteHuh. Didn't know that. Anyway, it's now changed!

ReplyDeleteSo I'm guessing this is going on when Dean is dealing with Lisa and Ben?
ReplyDeleteIntense! Poor Sammy :( But man, Jared is an awesome actor! And I love the filming technique when Sam is running. Really smart :)
Oooh didn't think of that, but it makes sense for all this to be in his head! I knew he'd have to fight himself but I didn't think it would more then outside himself like when he's detoxing in S4.
ReplyDeleteIn those first few seconds, was I the only one expecting Sam to be running away from a tiny dog? It's the first thing that popped into my head.
ReplyDeleteOMG y cant he remember his name?!?!?!?! I want these episodes already
ReplyDeleteYep. Sadly enough, it is. :-( I was wanting them to be connected like AHBL, but they're not. They confirmed that at Paley actually.
ReplyDeleteCool Erica Cerra from Eureka is the bartender
ReplyDeleteLook at the title. It's 6x22 - the finalé
ReplyDeleteYou weren't alone in your thinking ;)

So they put the wall in his head to stop him remembering. Now he can't remember ANYTHING!!? What's going on Sammy :(
