I like season 10 but a more accurate statement would be "everything after Lana left and Tess arrived." Also, congrats to Cassidy Freeman for being a total badass in the finale.
If they condensed Seasons 4 & 5 into one season and Seasons 6 & 7 into one season, the show would have been much smoother and wouldn't have lost as many viewers in the middle but, seasons 8 9 & 10 were by far the best which is something I never thought I'd say as I was devastated when I found out Michael Rosumbaum was leaving. Cassidy Freeman was a great choice and I really enjoyed her progress. Kudos to the show runners fro managing to bring it back after the abysmal Season 7!!!
I really loved Season 8, there was a lot of experimental episodes which I enjoyed and loved the Doomsday story, while the finale dissapointed alot of fans it firmly placed itself into the prewritten mythology (Jimmy is meant to be younger than Clark and Lois, Doomsday emerging from the ground)
I vote 10. In my opinion, seasons 8-10 were the best. Did not care for 7, though I do accept that the writers strike did ruin it slightly (like it destroyed Heroes season 2)
Seasons 1-7. I think the writers smoke to much weed after season 7 they couldn't even make a decent episode. So thank you Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders for fucking everything that the original developers made.
I think it's really interesting to see how this poll played out. I watched Smallville for the first 6 and a half seasons. As can be seen in the above poll, I stopped watching during what SpoilerTV fans seemed to have deemed the worst. I really want to go watch the last four seasons now since Season 9 and 10 were apparently the best. I just don't know how I feel about a general lack of Allison Mack in Season 10 (although I hear she guested a bit) and a replacement for Lex.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Season 10!
ReplyDeleteSeason 4 and 10 were the best in my opinion. Season 6-8 were the worst imo

ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteSeasons 6,9 and 10. And every episode without Kristin Kreuk
ReplyDeleteI liked season 3's storyline...
ReplyDelete(Especially the finale!)
But honestly, when Tess joined the show I started to like it more again.

ReplyDeleteI feel the exact opposite. Every episode without Kristin is an episode without eye candy. That's not good!
ReplyDeleteMy personal favorite is season 5.
I agree with you completely!
