  1. Seems interesting, but so was Eastwick and that was canceled pretty quick.

  2. hopefully will gradually improve as VD did, this promo is not so great but the pilot was initally written before Kevin Williamson came aboard

  3.  Hmmm... Underwhelmed I guess. Maybe it was just too much Thomas Dekker? I still have relatively high hopes for this show and will tune it, but meh....

  4. Terrible promo and the clips were underwhelming.  The dark-haired girl with the bitchy lines in the first clip seems to be a carbon copy of Heather Hemmens' character from Hellcats.  The dialogue and line readings are EXACTLY the same.

  6.  I am going to watch this show simply because Kevin Williamson is behind it, and if it has such huge twists and cliffhangers in each episode as TVD has then this could really be something! (even though this promo kinda sucks!)

  7. But It's just  a brief promo. We can't really judge. Besides, event the first Vampire Diaries promo was terrible and now...the show is awsome!!

  8.  The CW needs to take a lesson from CBS, ABC, NBC, & FOX.  These 30 second promos aren't sufficient when you're trying to sell people on a brand new series.  They need to make 2-4 minute video presentations like the other networks.

  9.  OR.... make approximately 65 BTS, trailers, character features and interviews like HBO did with Game of Thrones.... Best promotional campaign EVER!

  10.  Heh.  I'm sure The CW would love to have HBO's budget for such things.  :)

  11.  They'd be happy to have the budget of 1 singular episode of GoT for an entire season of one of their series.... but hey....  they do fairly well for keeping their budgets slashed so deeply.

  12.  Same here.

  13.  I can't see the clips, just the trailer.

  14.  That's exactly the one worry I have about Ringer.  It was conceived as a proper network show with a proper network budget and that's not The CW.

I'm crossing my fingers that The Ringer can still be a quality program on a CW budget.

  21.  lol this is on CW...it'll get at least 1 season. Plus, it's from the same people that brought you TVD, it's probably going to be a hit if it's at least decent.

  22.  Orrr maybe Caroline Forbes of season 1 of TVD?
Same people made these shows after all...
(Then again, I've never watched a single ep of Hellcats so, what do I know?)

  23.  You weren't missing much.

  24.  Honestly it looks better than I thought it would be. I am expecting the first 2-3 episodes to be awful and then for it to shift into better writing/acting around ep 4, like TVD did. The first few episodes were just abominable but after Damon killed that coach in ep 4-5, it changed into a twisty enjoyable show...
I'll give it a few episodes before I weigh in completely, probably.

  25.  I figured as much. The commercials for that show just made me cringe. XD

  26. The show was mediocre but don't go by those promos.  Hellcats was the most atrociously promoted show I've ever encountered.  Almost all commercials for Hellcats either misrepresented the tone and content of the show or relied on objectifying  the actresses to sell the show (which made no sense since the target audience was young females.)

  27.  I didn't think the beginning of TVD was THAT bad but I agree that the curve was pretty steep during the first season.

  28. Thanks!
I don't know why The CW block PROMOTIONAL content to internacional users...

  29. Terrible promo.

  30. Huh, looks intriguing. Might give it a go. Although it looks like they're setting up for a love triangle  with the main girl and those two guys, and to be honest, I'm all love triangled-out with The Vampire Diaries.
