Bittersweet ending, great cliffhanger, but I'd really like to know now if they killed Ahmed or not. And seeing Belko pumped up about beating a guy at least near death that he starts hitting a rock was kind of disturbing.
Felt a bit sorry for Ahmed when he returned to school and his pupils just left, leaving him standing in front of that "Killer" board, even though I don't like this guy.
But in terms of the investigation we're now back to square one.
Another awesome episode, but one that left me with some frustration. For one thing, I'm growing worried that the writers may be slipping into the "mystery formula." That would be, take a member of the underdog society du jour (Muslim), set that person up for the viewer/reader to suspect, then exonerate him/her, then put forth a member of the big boy's club (from the political camp, like the mayor) as the perpetrator. If that's what happens, I'll be disappointed. So many mystery writers have been doing that story lately.
The other thing that's been bugging me is, how sloppy is this police work? Why wasn't Ahmed protected? Why, when confronted with an angry Mitch, did Linden not attempt to remind her that Ahmed was "innocent until proven guilty"? Why do the two cops feel such a need to go maverick?
This is a great show to be stirring so many emotions in me.
He wasn't beating a rock because he was pumped up, he probably did it because he would be an alibi for Rozie dad. they will probably say they got into the fight etc.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
