Awesome as usual. This show keeps up the tension and always leaves me excitedly anticipating the next episode. Looks like Rick is gone, good riddance. And now Sarah has a little "date" with Holden. Good couple, both a little antisocial. I hope the show isn't going the formulaic route of "bad bureaucracy hinders brilliant maverick" because that plot device always has me rooting for the feds. Had the detectives gone through proper channels they most likely would have the permission to pursue the evidence they need and not have to fight. Sarah really has some explaining to do as she is not really officially still working there.
I worry that the Larsen marriage is not going to survive the trauma. Nice acting, as always, by Michelle Forbes.
Great episode again. Holder & Linden finally found some kind of mutual respect for each other which should make working together a lot easier for both of them from now on. And we finally found out what's been going on with Holder, he's a former junkie. He actually reminds a bit of Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. There are some similarities there, but Holder is the good guy version of Jesse, he was able to get out of it before it wasn't too late.
Both Larsen parents were great again. Hard to watch how Mitch isn't able to let go and move on. She even endangered the boys, I'm afraid to see something really bad happening some time soon.
How many episodes will the first season have? I'm not sure, but there are only 5 more episodes left in the best case :(
Well, 13 episodes is the usual maximum season for an AMC show so I'm sure this season we are going to get 5 more episodes maximum. As for the total length of the show, I don't really see it going longer than 3 seasons, but right now 2 seasons sound more realistic to. That would be 26 or 39 days of investigation, how much longer can you keep an audience interested in one murder case? Unless of course something bigger comes along, but then you also have the problem that in the show only a month has passed and in reality much more time which would make it especially difficult with Linden's son.
But considering that AMC will start airing Hell on Wheels this fall and will likely pick up 2 new shows from their pilot bash this year, I think they also don't see this show going on for many years.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

It looks like there were 20 episodes in the Danish version, if that's any indication.
