RIVEEEEER!!!!! That was the best line in a veeery long time, possible ever! And I hope it means River being saved from that computer world somewhere in a future! Can´t wait to see what´s coming next.
Loved the episode, and I have a scary interpretation of the Tardis's riddle for Rory...
"The only water in the forest is the river". Okay so besides reminding me of River Song obviously, the forest it immediately made me think of was the one from Flesh and Stone. River was there, and if she was the only water there then Amy POND wasn't there... O_O
The whole episode was pure brilliance. The Doctor stole the TARDIS, and the TARDIS stole the Doctor... And finally, we know that she has _always_ been reliable!
Hats off to you, Mr. Gaiman. This one is an instant classic.
Brilliant episode! Just the concept of the TARDIS in human form was amazing and so spot on! Still teary eyed from the "death" scene. She stole the Doctor not the other way around was just awesome.
no doubt in my mind, best episode EVER!!! and not just of doctor who, best thing I've seen on tv!!! I loved seeing the old control room, having amy and rory runing around in the tardis, the whole relationship between the doctor and the tardis, the psychotic "house" that killed the time lords was terrifying! and and "fear me, I have killed many timelords!" reply? "fear me, I've killed them all!" OMG!!!! what a show!
Rory has a habit of dying this series. Or at least one person "dies" each episode...
I enjoyed this episode, House was excellent. Like Midnight, its the aliens you dont see which can be more scary. Would have preferred a little bit more Rory/Amy scaring. Also, Id have liked some hope to have been placed in the doctors head rather than another dead end but this episode was great.
Awesome episode :) Though, I don't think thats the first time he's met the TARDIS...didn't he speak to her when it was in Rose at the end of season new 1? Forgive me if I'm wrong, that was probably something entirely different. And loved seeing the 'coral' control room again, brings back good dr who memories :D
I thought the same thing about Rose, but then I realised that that was the Bad Wolf entity which as far as I can tell is something entirely different to the soul (or whatever you'd call it) of the TARDIS.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
FANTASTIC.

I don't care much for River, but I really want it to mean that we'll be going back to the library!

ReplyDeleteLOVED IT! LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!
ReplyDeletePossibly my favourite episode ever!
Bloody amazing!
Holy crap! Rory being left behind until he died, and all of that hate on the walls. That was creepy as hell.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. Plus loved that the Tardis has its own opinions about the pretty one :)

ReplyDeleteThat is by far one of my favorite Who lines. Right behind David's "I'm a Time Lord, I'm 900 years old...and I'm going to save the lives of..."
