There are exceptions to the rule, however. If the brother tries to control his sister's love life, then it's in her own right to pursue that friend to gain independence from her brother's control.
Saw the Penny/Raj hook up coming when they were drinking, but it was a surprising thing nevertheless. I rather expected Leonard and Priya to break up and him getting back together with Penny. Great way to end the season.
I loved it, and thought it was my new favourite episode, right up until I realised what was going to happen with Raj and Penny. Then I wasn't so fond of the episode.
I agree wholeheartedly! I can't stand Priya! Maybe if Penny and Raj were to date he could actually learn to talk to women a bit. Growth with the main cast members would be nice to see. Amy Farrah Fowler started as a Sheldon mold that was a bit more open-minded, and she's blossomed into this season's MVP as far as I'm concerned.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I loved it!
ReplyDeletePriya needs to stay in India and never ever come back. Leonard deserves better. Someone who isn't Penny.
Speaking of Penny, I can't believe that Raj/Penny twist! I'm in shock. And NGL, I kinda ship it now. Need fic!
Well I read the taping report weeks ago so no surprise for me :P
ReplyDeletebut over all it wasn't bad
Yeah...sleeping with your friend's ex-girlfriend... You're just not supposed to do that. It's a very important friend rule.
ReplyDeleteSome allowances are made if alcohol is consumed, but it's still not good. And yes, I have broken that rule. I wouldn't suggest it. ;)
Can Penny get over Leonard now? PLEASE?? That ship has seriously sailed...
ReplyDeleteBest Episode Ever! So many laughs and twists, recaptured my interest in this shows (which has sagged a bit at times).
ReplyDeletewow the Penny/Raj twist crazy...i reminds me of last fall. awesome episode.
ReplyDeleteBut sleeping with your friend's sister is also a very important friend rule

ReplyDeleteAlso, the sister looks like this:
Rules are not broken. If a rule has an exception, it's not a rule. It becomes a heuristic or "rule of thumb."
ReplyDeleteAnd the ex girl friend looks like this. What's your point?
Raj/Penny twist? I was pleasantly surprised! lol
ReplyDeleteAnd seriously, Sheldon + massage = hilarious!!!
Best walk of shame!
