  2.  I think this might be a few years late in catching the Mad Men "vintage" wave..... Men "vintage" wave.....

  3.  but I think that this vintage wave might be the factor that will attract the viewers. it certainly will attract me.

  4. Looks great, actully one of the new shows im looking forward to. Eddie Cibriani(or what his last-name) i actully like, and has liked for a couple of years. DIdnt feel CSI: Miami was right for him, so im glad he`s getting a gig like this. For at least as long as it last.

  7. A show in the 50's, seems interesting but have to watch the pilot.

  8. It feels like NBC is going for a "Mad Men" like feel here, but to be honest not sure what to really think about this one. Might be worth an initial view and then decide.

  9. I'm not even sure why they would want to catch that wave. Mad Men is loved by the critics, but its ratings are pretty weak. Now I know it's too early to say, but this The Playboy Club doesn't really seems like a show that would make of the quality its main strength.

  10. It's seems great. From what we can tell, the photography and directing are well above the average. It looks classy.

But just like Awake, I'm afraid it will be cancelled because it's too original and people don't like original, they want 'safe'. That's why I wanted these shows to be on cable (that may not be the only reason regarding Playboy...).

  11.  Well, Alan Taylor also directed Mad Men pilot and created and set the tone of the show, so it's pretty obvious there will be a lot of similarities.
