  1. Is it just me or does hearing something is considered "too dark" make anyone else MORE interested in Person of Interest?

  2. Nope, not just you. The darker the better!

  3. Not exactly a surprise considering your user names.

  4. Very excited about Poe! There also seems to be some hope for Alcatraz and Persons of Interest just caught my attention just because of the 'too dark' mention! Still hoping Locke & Key does well...

  5. Even if the pilot for ALCATRAZ and Locke & Key aren't great, they should make it as series just so these interesting shows can be given time to find it's feet, examples being Fringe and Nikita.

  6. Yes, it's definitely better!..Are they idiots?

  7. supposedly Locke and Key has big penalties attached so they might just resort to like a 7 episode season on Fridays or something

  8. The darker the better but it also means that it is not going to be your regular viewing habit. Think of Inception + Fringe :)

  9. After "too serialized" for Ringer, we have "too dark" for Persons of Interest... vintage CBS. Fortunately it seems like they'll pick it up nonetheless... I just hope they won't interfer in the creative process and force the writers to make the show less dark.

Someone pointed out to me a few days ago that I mixed up Identity (procedural about identity-related crimes) and Revenge (Sean Bean & Ashely Judd in a thriller about a kidnapping). Now I can say I litteraly hate the premise of Identity and I hope it doesn't get picked up, for the sake of the viewers and originality. ABC has forgotten about The Forgotten.

Charlie's Angels seems like a lock, I'm glad. I hope Poe will fully explore its potential (its setting, its unique character) and won't be just another random copshow with a House-like hero and a romance, we have enough of shows like that.

Everyone was confident about Alcatraz but the last few days, the show seems less and less likely to air, that's a bummer.

  10. Which makes me wonder what kind of shows you like...

  11. wrong again
i said u nixed up missing and revenge lol
    Identity is a procedural
Revenge = count of monte christo modern female version
    Missing = sean bean

Missing is not a pilot its filming 10 eps right away blind commitment so not being tested even

  12. I really hope Alcatraz gets picked up..

  13. I think you read it wrong, Deadline said "a bit dark" not "too dark", that's different.

  14. I saw some of the UK version of Identity. It had Aiden Gillen in it it if I recall. IT was prety good for a procedural. How the US version translates though.... who knows.

  15. I'm interested either way. My concern is that CBS may consider the show "off-brand" for the network. I have the same fear for Ringer.

  16. I liked the US version of 11th Hour but that didn't seem to matter much, as it was canceled after only 1 season. :)

  17. I liked Eleventh Hour too, but I think I preferred the UK original with Patrick Stewart more.

Either way, you're right on with our views of the originals not mattering.... STOOPID NETWORKS!

  18. I hope not. I t was one of my picks to be picked up when I read the initial pilot summaries months ago.

  19. Mine too. My pilot picks seem to be holding up fairly well on every network except NBC. I should of known. NBC has notoriously bad taste. After all, this is the network that brought us Kath & Kim and the Knight Rider reboot.

  20. My thought exactly! If a J.J. Abrams show isn't "dark", then something's wrong, especially since Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises) is a co-creator.
