After becoming an aunt recently, Jenna Fischer acknowledged, "I already wanted kids, but even more so now."

Her wish is coming true.

The Office star, 37, and her husband Lee Kirk are expecting their first child, a rep for Fischer confirms to PEOPLE.

Fischer already has some experience in mommyhood. Her character Pam Beesly on NBC's hit show had a baby with her on-screen hubby Jim Halpert, played by John Krasinski.

    Yay! I knew it and I'm so happy for her.

    I think they'll write this pregnancy in for Jim and Pam. A second baby wouldn't hurt.

    This will only work if the 2nd baby becomes the new manager of the office. With Carell gone, season 8 is bound to be the last, so why not pull out all the stops?

    I kid, I haven't lost that much hope for the show just yet.

    I actually liked the last episode with Dwight as manager more than a lot of episodes that dealt with Michael.

     I consider it to be Rainn's strongest episode of the season for sure.
