  2. Everything people need to know/do to help bring Lisa Edelstein back to House can be read here: http://bringlisaedelsteinbacktohouse.tumblr.com/

AND SEND YOUR EMAILS/COMPLAINTS HERE. LET THEM KNOW VIEWERS WANT CUDDY FOR SEASON 8!!

LE may have issued a statement but TPTB at House and the folks at Fox/NBCU have not commented on or confirmed her departure. DON'T GIVE UP!

  3.  Why do you think everyone wants her back?! Everyone I know is happy that Cuddy is gone next season, sorry (tbh, no, we're not really sorry). LE CHOSE to quit, she was the one who decided that the job was not worth the paycut, so why try to get her back?!

  4. This particular fan is thrilled she is gone, as are a lot of people. She chose to leave, and honestly I doubt TPTB will be swayed by you Cuddy fans, especially considering you guys are going on public boards issuing death threats to the people at Fox/NBCU or insulting the other actors.

  5. She didn’t want to leave, she said she was “disappointed.” Even before season 8 was renewed Ausiello
quoted Lisa as saying she was excited for season 8. Negotiations
must have fallen apart, we just don’t know the details. It’s been
said Fox advertisers were pressuring the network not to re-sign her
because she did that abortion PSA. Though all I know is that numerous
producers, Omar, RSL, even Hugh himself have said she works harder than
anyone. She is the show’s biggest cheerleader, a consummate professional
and does so much PR for the show. Things aren’t so cut and dry; and why
hasn’t TPTB at House or the execs at Fox/NBCU issued a statement or confirmed her response?

  6. A consummate professional? Really? Was she being professional when she coyly suggested she and Hugh where having an affair? Was she being a professional when she spoke about Jennifer Morrison leaving when no one else on the show had said anything? And the only PR she did for the show was to promote that asinine Huddy storyline.

And if she didn't want to leave she wouldn't have. She is disappointed because she felt she was worth more to the show and clearly they disagreed. An actor's worth on TV is determined by their ability to deliver
ratings & critical acclaim. Lisa Edelstein did neither. You don't think Omar's disappointed he had to take a pay cut or that RSL will have reduced screentime? I'm sure their upset but they chose to stay because they are loyal to the fans and the show.

Her character hasn't been a useful part of the show since Season 4.  She became less and less important until the producers tried to shove Huddy down our throats.  They were smart enough not to do Hameron, I wish they would have stayed away from the whole leads dating scenario.

If House is to continue past Season 8, then they need to change things up.  LE needed to go.  I'm not sure how long they'll be able to afford 13, with the increasing number of roles she has landed outside of House, I don't see her staying much longer, either.  This could be how they bring 3M back into the fold.  She was quirky and House "liked" her.  I got used to her character and could see her as a permanent cast member.

As tight as the budget looks for next season, the producers did the right thing in trimming the fat.  I know she quit, but they low-balled her to get her to quit so they don't look like the bad guys.

  8. She decided to leave, so what's your problem?
I - and most of the people I know - will not miss her

  9. Why can't everyone just let everyone do their thing? I'm fine with LE
staying or going. It's ultimately her decision even if she is being
low-balled (she'd still get a very nice pay check). I'm sure I'll enjoy
what the writers come up with either way. I also have no problem if some
fans want to beg NBCU to give LE more money. Since none of us know the
details, LE and the show's producers may have planned to use fan
leverage against NBCU. If it works, great. If it doesn't, great. But, I
can't figure why anyone would actually care that some fans want to use
their own time to write some letters. On the other hand, some of the
comments on Twitter I saw against Greg Yaitanes were just disgusting and
those people should be removed from society.

Back to the videos... Anyone else notice the (likely) big continuity
error where House was in a normal room at the end on 7x22, but is now in
the ICU for 7x23? I wonder if something else puts him in the ICU or if
they just wanted the more intimate room for the Cuddy and Wilson scenes
and hoped no one would notice.

  10. Well, maybe the normal room wasn't spacious enough for the giant radioactive spiders .
