Hart of Dixie & Secret Circle Picked Up By The CW

Update: Hart of Dixie & Secret Circle have been ordered by The CW. They also confirmed Ringer.

Variety is reporting that "Hart of Dixie" and "Secret Circle" are almost sure things to be picked up by The CW on Thursday.

Also expected to go into series is zombie drama "Awakening".

    I expected the Hart of Dixie and Secret Circle pickups.  The Ringer pickup was out of left field but it's a pleasant surprise.  I think I want The CW to pick up Awakening just out of morbid curiosity.  I want to watch the pilot for the same reason people rubberneck at car accidents.

     I think all of the series (maybe not Awakenings) have potential to be solid series on The CW. I will check out all 3 or 4, but I don't plan on watching any of them past 3 or 4 episodes unless they surprise me!

    I wonder IF I picked those 4 in that pilot poll... I think I did, but obviously Ringer was on CBS(?) not CW.

    The descriptions of each of these are as ignorant as the next.  Secret Circle is just like Vampire Diaries, directed for tweenies, Hart of Dixie sounds like it'll be as dumbed down as Gossip Girl, Awakening sounds like CW's version of trying to create a female version of Supernatural...and the Ringer would be better suited on CBS.

    There...is that good enough for you?  Oh, wait, I don't care.
