I do wonder historically speaking how many knights were as old as Ser Barristan the Bold, With such a short life expectancy in the Middle Ages, how many men on the battle field were past middle aged?
I suspect far less than portrayed on TV, but I would love to know if anyone has any historical data or insight!
No nerds back off I got this one... We find out later through Bran that, "Hodor is not actually his name, it's just a word he says all the time, nobody knows what it means or why he says it. He is Old Nan's great grandson and his real name is Walder."
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Hodor! Hodor... hodor Hodor... Hodor?
ReplyDeleteI always loved the big galoot!

Is this Hodor a ASOIAF version of South Park's Timmy? A guy who's just able to communicate by saying his own name?
