They never showed her explicitely telling him about the hair, but they did show Littlefinger commenting about how "thinking Queen Cersei is involved in Bran's death is equal to treason" (paraphrasing) and then later she left King's Landing with the touching moment between herself and Ned. Since she traveled a month and left seemingly content.. I think we can assume she told him.
Hmmm, maybe I was still a bit asleep or something that I missed that, but it was pretty well covered in the episode. Just rewatched it, but totally forogt about it when I wrote this comment... Shame on me.
To be honest, I didn't really catch that while watching it. Now that you mention it, I do, but during the episode I totally missed it.
Sean Bean is making me like the character of Ned so much more than I did in the books. I didn't hate him or anything, but he just wasn't all that interesting. Sean brings a strength to his lines that makes me appreciate Ned a lot better.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This reminds me - Did Catelyn tell Ned about the things she discovered? Did they just not show it to us?

ReplyDeleteEvery episode of this is even more fantastic than the one before. I am definitely going to look at getting the books in the near future.
ReplyDeleteI actually missed that fact in the books despite having no way of avoiding it when I read their names every time. Go figure. Shame on me I guess....
