Game of thrones will be like True Blood that way... every season they will cast 3-5 new major roles and dozens of minor roles. I read somewhere there are something like 75 or so notable roles in the the first four books alone and well over 300 defined characters.
ReplyDeleteYgritte is almost definitely one of those
ReplyDeleteYep. She turns up towards the end of book 2 I think, but she is MAJOR in book 3 of course. Important although not all major roles to Cast.
ReplyDeleteStannis Baratheon,
Melisandre,
Davos Seaworth ,
Edmure Tully,
Asha,
Brienne turns up in book two I think also...
Would Strong Belwas be major (other than in size I mean)?
So many people as we move across the realms. I don't envy that casting director!
