    I've read a few of these. Some people say they didn't like the episode because it was basically a "what if" episode and it didn't actually happen so why should we be invested in it? I get where that is coming from, but I think the entire point was to show us how bad doomsday could be. Like Peter said, we have now seen doomsday and we know how bad it can be.


    I was telling a friend that I had wish Lost did an episode like this for what happened if MIB ever left the island. I never felt emotionally invested in whether MiB left or not because I didn't know what the repercussion were going to be. However, with Fringe, I am now emotionally invested in preventing doomsday as it is a terrible future.
