According to Deadline FOX has also picked up Alcatraz by JJ Abrams and the Bones spin-off The Finder.

    Great news and meh.
    A show from some of the people behind LOST and a show that needs to get lost... nice synergy.Honestly, the concept of Alcatraz doesn't intrigue me much, but that creative team sure does! l definitely have high hopes for it and will be checking it out!

    I'm on the same boat, but I didn't care for the concept of Fringe either, and I don't regret jumping in based on pure faith alone.

    FOX passed on Weekends at Bellevue. So much for Deadline's intel that has said for over a week now that the pilot was a frontrunner and had lots of positive buzz.


    You can scratch this one off of my pilot competition entry.

    I like Saffron Burrows. I haven't seen the backdoor pilot, or her in the role of Ike, but I do like the actress and am happy that her show made it to series. It sucks that I hear she may be dropped.

    I hope that if Fringe was cancelled, Pinkner and Wyman would join Alcatraz writer team :-D. Or they can just create their own show :-D.

    I really hope that this show would attract bigger crowd than Fringe. Assuming it`s gonna be great.
