Returns to a Galaxy Far, Far Away Sunday, May 22

FOX has renewed ANIMATION DOMINATION favorites FAMILY GUY for a tenth season and THE CLEVELAND SHOW for a fourth season, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“For nine seasons, our viewers have been cracked up, delighted, surprised and, at times, gloriously disturbed by the mind of Seth MacFarlane – and they keep coming back for more,” said Reilly. “The Griffins and the Browns have become cornerstones of our Sunday nights, and we can’t wait to find out what new adventures Seth, Mike and Rich cook up for them next season.”

    Fortunately American Dad is already renewed (20 new episodes were ordered a month ago, and I'm assuming FOX still has a bunch of episodes in stock so I guess the Smiths will stick around for 2 more seasons at least).


    I thought Family Guy was already renewed for a 10th season. They must have a bunch of episodes in stock and this new order of episodes will be part of the late 10th season-early 11th season.



    FOX really has faith in The Cleveland Show, I'm glad. Other shows gets renewed for an upcoming season but no, Cleveland is such a badass he gets renewed for the season after the upcoming season. I have to say this show really is a treat to watch, as are the three Seth MacFarlane shows.

    i guess they talk about production season 10.. if you look at the production codes on wikipedia they only aired episodes until production season 8 until now.. so after this renewal there are 2 more complete seasons

    Could someone explain the appeal of the cleveland show? Honestly, I don't get it, Im trying to work out why I like the others and not this. I like Family Guy went it doesn't go out of the way to gross people out and I think American Dad is awesome, however I watched the first two episodes of the Cleveland Show and the only bit I found funny was the Family Guy characters at the start (although I felt the bear had potential). I quit after finding mind numbingly dull and their subsuquent appearances in F.G. havent made me change my mind.
