Doctor Who - BBC America Decides to Delay Airing of Episodes 6 and 7
21 May 2011
Doctor WhoAccording to the BBC America Press site episode 6, "The Almost People" will air on 4th June, a week later than BBC1. There is no details yet for episode 7; thou I would assume it would air on 11th June. Instead there will be a mini-marathon of the first 5 episodes back to back on Memorial Weekend.
I understand that they think viewing figures will drop over Memorial Day weekend, but it seems a shame that they are going to delay the second part of two parter like this :(
ReplyDeleteThe only thing this will accomplish is forcing me to watch it online.
ReplyDeleteI hate this show but my dad will be upset
ReplyDeleteThat's stupid as people are still going to be able to see it online thanks to it being shown here at the normal time/date.
ReplyDeleteExactly! I think it will far more detrimental to their viewing figures as people will be forced to watch it by other means if they wish to go on line at all and not be spoiled for a whole week :s
ReplyDeleteIdiots! Its a bank holiday in the UK too and they are still airing the episode!!!! Do they think people totally switch of ALL weekend seriously is that why TV is so rubbish here at christmas as well. As Victor Meldrew would say "Unbelievable"!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes I know he would actually say " I dont believe it" I was paraphrasing!!!
ReplyDeleteBollocks!!!!!
