Great news! He has surprised me with how ell he does comedy as well as subtle, layered drama.
ReplyDeleteWhat has he done of important as an actor? I've only heard him in The Boondocks.
ReplyDeleteHe was in the movie "The Italian Job" as thee crew's tech guy, House as a patient with "locked in" syndrome and got some acclaim, 16 Blocks with Bruce Willis.. and he was in two VERY good but not well seen movies called "Something the Lord Made" and "The Woodsman".
ReplyDeleteAwesome news! I really like him a lot and he's one of the reasons I'm looking forward to Enlightened a lot.
ReplyDeleteHe seems to be able to transport the same vibe his music has on me to his acting. Very relaxing and smooth. After the - at least for me - a bit disappointing season 5, this season already gets me excited with its casting choices.
16 blocks is probably his best introduction as a dramatic actor. He's definitely talented.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie with him is "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy".
