CW - Ringer pickup deal done, CW also picking up H8ER

16 May 2011

CW has finalized a deal to pickup Ringer, it has also picked up reality series H8ER
Mario Lopez hosts H8R, in which celebrities confront their biggest haters and try to convince them that their animosity is misdirected. The CW first ordered a pilot for the project, which featured reality stars Snooki and Kim Kardashian. The pilot has been red-hot at the CW. The network for years has been looking for a new big, loud reality series to join America's Next Top Model, and I hear the feeling internally is that this might be it. H8R also represents some Time Warner synergy as it comes from a team that works on the Telepictures-produced entertainment newsmagazine Extra. Extra host Lopez is executive producing H8R with Extra senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey and co-executive producer Jeremy Spiegel. Warner Horizon's reality division has been on a roll lately. It is also behind NBC's breakout hit The Voice.

  6.  But the stupid reality (the last conquer of Dawn Ostroff) will be on midseason right? Like Shedding bla bla Wedding and the other one two years ago, or they will launch on september leaving 2 free slot for the series???If they will launch at september, maybe i hope that OTH or Gossip girl will be put in midseason ..... Because i want ringer Hart and Secret circle in the fall!!!! CW with a reality on september will order only 3 series....

  10.  Well i think both of the show will have a 13 episode order, and one will go to friday. But i'm scared that with a reality in the fall they will order only 3 new series, while they have a lot of interesting pilots.
Wendsday it's a great day for launching a new series!!!
So please cw renew Nikita, put H8Cr#p in midseason and pick up Hart of Dixie Secret circle and Awakening. With Gossip girl 90210 and Oth weaker than ever they have to try to catch new hits!

  12.  I agree wholeheartedly.  The CW have been ceaselessly trying to improve their reality game and Mario Lopez is a step in the wrong direction.  But, as you said, "Yay for Ringer!"

  14. Would really like Secret Circle and The Awakening to get picked up. Yay for Ringer (smart move), but H8ER sounds kind of lame. And I'm sure it will be mid-season. Let's hope! If OTH gets picked up for another seasom, that too should be mid-season. And please renew Nikita!
