The CW have posted a bunch of "new" Marketeting Posters for the New and Returning shows. A lot of the returning shows appears to be the same Promotional Photos that we've already seen.
I know they're just photoshopping the SPN promo pic together for marketing, but where did the base pic for Dean come from? And are his necklaces significant? (I can't remember ever seeing the base pic before. I know Sam's from the old promo.)
No, I meant the Supernatural one. Sam's still with a snake even though the Lucifer storyline was two seasons ago. I'm laughing at the CW for not keeping current.
Don't you know, Sam's going to be tempted FOREVER. At least, that's what the recycled promos keep harping on. I liked the picture for Season 5, when he was getting closer and closer to saying yes to Lucifer, but I just feel like "been there, survived that, moving on."
The CW and photoshopping, a crime against my eyes...I hate that stupid white snake. It didn't make sense for season 6 and it will be just as stupid for season 7. The Ringer is the only picture which looks decent.
It seems the CW used a few of last year's pics for this year. even their pet show TVD has the same pic used for its poster...why would they start treating SPN special NOW? lol
That's alright, I'm having difficulty buying into Thomas Dekker as a sensitive warlock. I could buy into Dekker as an angsty, impulsive, snarky teen who wanted to bang a cyborg but not this.
The CW is planning a new reality competition called The Frame that is basically the now-dead Fox Reality Channel’s show Solitary with elements of Big Brother (there’s a live Internet feed) and The Amazing Race (the living spaces will be inhabited by two people with a preexisting relationship). The contestants, however, will apparently live and compete at home, not in a studio.New York Magazine reports that it will be a “real-time competition series in which teams of two are isolated in small rooms, with their life broadcast on TV and the net as they compete against each other,” and it is “[b]ased on an Israeli format created by a company called Armoza.” It just debuted in Spain, where it’s called El Marco. Here’s Armoza’s pitch reel, which of course isn’t a real version, hence the bad acting:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSeEdepWXdA&feature=player_embedded
It looks similar to a picture where Dean, Sam and Cas are above a freshly dug grave..but I think the clothes are slightly different and the necklaces are the same. i dont think the people who dress them for the pictures are too familiar with the show :P
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThey better give One Tree Hill a new photoshoot for their last season. They've been using the same pics for two flipping years.

ReplyDeleteCastiel was in last years. He's not in this one.
ReplyDeleteon which channel will be Heavenly with Lauren Cohan? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1832982/
ReplyDeleteHeavenly was not picked up I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteDon't read too much into it. That is just a recycled promo poster from earlier this season.
ReplyDeleteOMG JENSEN! O_o o_O O_O

ReplyDeleteMisha is also listed as a returning regular in the Season 7 promo release, but that means nothing until the finale airs.
ReplyDeleteWhere's 90210?
ReplyDeleteWe've just received the 90210 one. Hit refresh.
ReplyDeleteJust added it. Hit refresh
ReplyDeleteJared's head looks terribly photoshopped in SPN's poster, but Jensen looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat Rin ger poster looks like it could be part of a FRINGE marketing campaign... well other than the less talented actress in it.
ReplyDeleteThat Ringer poster looks like it could be part of a FRINGE marketing campaign... well other than the less talented actress in it.
ReplyDeleteOh no you didn't! *waves index finger in an appropriately sassy motion*
ReplyDeleteYou're gonna have fanboys all over your ass for that one! XD
You noticed that too, huh? The rest of the posters seem to imply that posing with catwalk pouts was good enough for the network.
ReplyDeleteWow that is a lot of photoshopping gone wrong. Secret Circle and Ringer look good.

ReplyDeleteNikita pic... Best by far.
ReplyDeleteI know, those posters were mostly awful.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm not used to seeing Lux...er Britt Roberts as the lead for The Secret Circle...
wow, GG looks TERRIBLE. Why are they pale as vampires?? gross.

ReplyDeleteWhat's "The Frame"? It looks like a reality tv show, but I'm not sure. Anyone care to enlighten me?

ReplyDeleteYeah, I found the base picture later in the day yesterday. ::Sigh:: Why does the CW just do copy and paste jobs on promos? It's sad.
ReplyDeleteWait, now no hating on Ms. Gellar. From the scenes I've watched, she's doing quite well for herself.
ReplyDeleteAh. Thanks for the explanation! And with that, I shall quietly be changing the channel to something else when this comes on.
